doesnt get too cold or too hot
if you like bigger cities seattle is better option but honestly its not too much bigger than portland and portland has better transit
denver/boulder is also rad
most of the suggestions in this thread are awful lol, I've lived in Socal, NJ, NYC, and the UK and i fucking love portland been here for 2 years probably never gonna leave
