just another quick question, will an i7 6800k benefit over an i7 7700k in a single pc stream setup? what else does it benefit over? I can afford both types of builds so price doesn't matter to me.

Are you sure that 550W is enough for i7 7700k and gtx 1070? I feel like 650W would be better since I'm going to overclock it.

I'm saving up for a gtx 1070 so I have to use my old 750ti for now. The only things I'm iffy about is my ram and SSD. I'm not sure if it's possible, but can I use my HDD from my old build on this build without formatting it? It has retail windows 7 (upgraded to 10). Budget is $950-1000 max for now.

edit: found out there is an asus prime z270-a. should i get that ($20 extra) or stick with z170-a
