It's tough to show violent games to such a large general audience. They need to keep it simple right now.

The PS4 is going to have all of this stuff too I'm sure. It's the future of consoles. I don't see the problem with adding all these features. When your life fills up with all kinds of overhead you never dreamed of having to deal with, you'll love simplicity integration and anything else that can save you time.

I can also tell you professionally that "cloud" is the future of everything, storage, TV PVR/DVR services, applications you once used to copy easily.. The list goes on. No one wants to have to pay to store stuff at home when they no longer have too.

why would you want a modem AND a router in your path?

the ideal situation is to have one of those all in 1 modems from your ISP, that has 4 lan ports and wireless and put it right at the demarc point of your house. Then run cables to your game PC and run everything else on wireless.

I would first bypass your router to see if that is in fact the issue. Plug right into your modem if you can and test without the router.

We could use some backups for the pocket/medic classes and hopefully someone who can do both. There's a good chance for some match playtime in the first few weeks.

EDIT: We will accept any class backups at this point if you can play often.

We play 10-12 PM EST and would like someone that can commit to at least 3-4 nights a week even being a backup.

Open gets a lot of attention because that's where the majority of players are. Invite gets the most attention because it's invite. IM is kind of stuck in the middle :/

Your individual or group DM?
Your target focus and calling targets?
Your overall map game-sense and play-style?

Are you opening the TF2 server browser screen and letting it search all servers? Try to cancel that right away.

I hated my hockey helmet chin piece getting moist when I would play and it really got to me sometimes. And just saying the word moist makes me remember that, so maybe just the word moist makes people think about something moist up against their face.

dude, get a garbage can near your desk and maybe a few organizer tubs and you'll avoid that mess on the floor :)
