Do you drink a lot of ice tea or other odd drink like that? I believe you can prevent those by avoiding certain drinks. ouchie.

#10 LF keyboard good for typing & fps gaming in Hardware

CM storm quickfire blues. Feels like typing on a real keyboard and has been great for gaming. I like hearing when I've done the action. It's also a 10 keyless short board so there's more room for your mouse.

#9 RoodY lft demo/soldier in Recruitment (looking for team)

nothing wrong with passion when playing. I'd rather someone who gets a bit worked up over someone that just closes up and becomes mute.

GL finding the right team, I remember you were a great medic.

FzeroIt's pretty annoying when teams pull shit like that, but what can you really expect when all that open money is on the line. But really, this season teams have been a nightmare to schedule and play games. Between client drops, not having enough servers, teams forcing to play on valentines day, and teams saying they can only play one day and one time a week this has been a pretty shitty season.

While the games have been fun and pretty even matched, I wish people would actually attempt a bit harder to PLAY the game they pay for then trying to get cheap wins

It's sad to see people not making an effort to play a good game. Most teams have been very good with us as we've been more than accommodating to other teams over the years. I haven't had too many try to force us to play short or grab a ffw over us. That's gotta really suck to be on the receiving end. How do you feel good about that kind of win?

#19 Anyone use the Zowie EC1 evo? in Hardware
aimInstead of buying multiple cheap mice invest in a Deathadder and join the master race.

been using a DA for 5 years and trying to find a better fitting mouse with a good sensor ever since. The spawn was the winner but is only usable in win95, so the sensor in the AM/ec-evo's is the next best thing in a great shell.

#36 Mouse Recommendations in Hardware

I use a semi-claw type hold on my mouse, so the DA is a normally good fit for me but not perfect. However the Zowie EC1 and EC2 are the same shape only a bit better and ome in 2 sizes, EC1 = large, the same size as the DA only not as thin where your pinky and thumb grip so ti's even better. EC2 is a bit smaller overall but same great shape.

So right now I think the top mice are from Zowie:
Zowie AM - great for lefties
Zowie EC1 and EC2 evo - my winner and using right now (black = soft felt, white = glossy like old DA)

IF you like the shape, the G400 is also pretty flawless.

Mice to avoid imo are:
I've tried;
-G400 (no where to put my ring finger, poor design for 2 finger button user)
-CM Spawn (Best form fit on any mouse ever but has CPU lock down issue in Windos 7 64 and mumble)
-CM Xornet (same great form as spawn but super bad negative accel)
-G9x (Hate laser sensors)
-Abyssus (WAY too small, will jitter on some pads)
-G500 (both form factor and sensor issue)

I switched for the white version because the black couldn't stay in my hand. Loving this mouse so far.

#15 Anyone use the Zowie EC1 evo? in Hardware

I picked up the EC1 evo today and the mouse is almost identical to the DA only it's not as thin in the middle where the pinky and thumb grip the mouse on each side. That makes this an even better fit than the DA. I will report back after a couple weeks of testing. I'm pretty pumped about the form of this mouse, even the side buttons are better placed more out of the way so less accidental clicks.

#8 Good movies? in Off Topic

Tropic Thunder and Zoolander at a minimum. I really only re-watch comedy's if I'm forced to watch something more than once.

My DA has just started randomly skipping a bunch until I reboot. This will be after playing almost any game and then trying to play another one. It's only started recently.

#1 Anyone use the Zowie EC1 evo? in Hardware

I know, 800th mouse thread this month, just ignore it if you're not a mouse nerd like me. :)

My DA 1800 is starting to go on me so I'm looking for a new mouse but I've tried so many mice it's not even close to funny. I'd like to know specifics about the Zowie EC1 evo or a convincing argument to steer me towards a different mouse.

I like the form of the DA but I find the spawn/xornet shape to be the best by far it's just a pity those mice have issues.

This Zowie EC1 seems like my best option but I'm seeing mixed reviews for it.

I'd like to stick with an optical sensor for multiple reasons I wont' bore you with now.

I've tried;
-Abyssus (WAY too small)
-G500 (both form factor and sensor issue)
