#4 Mad Men (show) in Off Topic

Not sure what you are expecting. What exactly do you mean by "pick up"? The show is pretty deliberate in its pacing and if you find it "slow" you are probably missing a lot of the details that are usually placed in every scene and every bit of dialogue. It definitely is no Breaking bad, in that there is no 'problem' with a clever and surprising 'solution'. On the flip side though, the show actually becomes better in some respects in the later seasons, in terms of character development and exploration of various aspects of American culture in the 60s. It also wouldn't hurt to buff up on some American history from the 50s and 60s to give yourself better context, because a lot of episodes are based around not so opaque references to current events of the day.

In the context of TF2 this is cheating.

Granted TF2 does have closed captioning which tells you graphically when someone makes a medic call or the medic has a fake uber or otherwise, but that gives no directional information. Leaving the player to use their aural acuity to pin point where someone is located. However hearing alone doesn't automatically give you depth/distance as easily as this program does.

As was said in the video this software can also be tuned for specific weapons, which could potentially render sticky traps, roamer bombs, spy uncloaking, hidden but spun up heavies, and round the corner kritzkrieg ineffective.

The simple fact of the matter is that even though people can buy audiophile multi hundred dollar headphones, visual information at least for humans is much easier and faster to process and make meaningfull than audio.
