I think everyone needs to relax. Granted tf2 has been around for nearly 6 years and is no where near as popular as other games. However I think only within the past year has the infrastructure and cohesion actually come in place to grow the game. So my message is to just relax and let the growth naturally play out. It must be remembered that competitive tf2 is pretty much entirely community run, so when compared to other purely community run games, competitive tf2 is light years ahead.

I'd say don't overclock. Although you may raise your future/3dmark score a couple points, those few points gained do not equate to a noticeable improvement to your gaming experience. The most likely outcome of overclocking is some part getting burnt out and tears shed trying to get your warranty to kick in. If you want an fps increase, you will gain more frames by simply fiddling with your config.

threads like this are useless, the people you should be talking to are your team mates to see what works best. Theory crafting accomplishes nothing.

As platinum said in his stream if lower level teams played the way mix up plays they would lose every time because mix up has the right combination of skill to pull of its aggressive play style.

Top invite teams got to the level where they can run a roamer the way they need not because they sat around theory crafting on a forum but by figuring it out through games/scrims/pugs over the years as it accorded with their team's skill set.
