BlackDynamiteHexagrams had to be one of cbear's thespian buddies, no way he is real. That has to be a character you guys are working on to create comical awkward moments in the interviews. That was more awkward than Between Two Ferns or the Gordon Keith interviews.
i actually stopped watching the HL matches he casts because he's such a scumlord. its just how he is, dude.
marxist plays are the best plays.
good at bball, not so much at ultiduo :P but a positive dude the few times i've played with him. i also witnessed him using a kill bind before getting airshot, which was hilarious.
mmmm i would say that while its a popular belief that there are more weapon bans in 6s because of how strong the items are in the hands of a skilled player, the biggest reason why some of these things are banned is because it can halt the pace of a format that is trying to keep things fast paced. with that said, if you look at how long an average HL match goes on say cp_granary (to use pudding's example) to varied lengths of time of a 6s match on the same map, HL typically will take longer.
the pace of HL is slower. part of this is due to the fact that a lot of the items like the wrangler are not banned, but its also the maps played (ie payload), the number of players (which really just makes number advantages obsolete), and the way the meta has developed over the last couple seasons.
and lets not kid ourselves, a big reason why people initially joined UGC HL was to get those medals, at least at first. the rest of it came later.
hotel party time.
benefit has the best medic DM of anyone i have ever seen. he doesn't even play medic
chill dudes, the loss of nemrawd kinda hurt them but it wouldnt have been a big deal except for all their matches getting overturned. they play pretty smart, definitely will be a good team to play on next season.
a good balance of health packs and ammo around the map would be nice. its always not enough or way too much.
can we pick seats yet or no? is this chart a teaser?
seanbudanyways 2 questions:
1) Is cp_ashville a good map or will it likely be the map voted out?
2) If voted out what are some viable replacements?
1) i'm pretty sure this map will be voted out, not really because its a terrible map but mostly because the popular consensus right now is to say its a bad map. its big. its hard to push out of last. the rollout is funky. this is true for other maps as well that are in the rotation, but its a new map. so lets get mad.
2)as funny as it is, i feel like koth_ashville is a pretty viable replacement. it'd be cool to see another 5 cp map. i've never played metalworks.
i actually enjoy both gpit and process. i feel like every time we gear up to play that map we always want to try new stuff which makes it fun.
process i only like because its easy to push out from last. well, easiER i should say, than most maps.
