#3 Different methods to lock cursor to one monitor? in Q/A Help
grillzI use to have this as well. Locking my task bar fixed it for me.

Interesting! I'll definitely try that when I get back. Sounds like a great solution.

#1 Different methods to lock cursor to one monitor? in Q/A Help

Hey guys, so, I have a two monitor setup with my secondary monitor physically to the right of my primary, and every so often I do a very vigorous rocket jump, the mouse cursor will actually fly out of my game (TF2 in windowed borderless mode). Have you guys ever come up with different solutions? These are mine.

1) Set the monitor to be above my primary, so that left/right movements won't ever accidentally go there. Also because I'm crap at airshots.

2) Not be lazy and setup my Raspberry Pi to that monitor.

3) Make a habit of doing left side jumps.

I don't want to do any of these. SAVE ME.

#57 What switch do you prefer? in Hardware
demannuWhat switches does the Razer Blackwiddow use

Blue.

I've used that keyboard and now a Noppoo Choc Mini with reds, and the reds don't bother me at all now (the Blackwidow did from the very start, besides the fact that it's not a tenkeyless).

I think for someone like me, who doesn't mind a bit of resistance but really DOESN'T want noise almost at all, ideal is reds or possibly blacks. I want to try Topres and Bucklings but I haven't had a chance. Apparently Bucklings are loud? No idea.

#24 ESEA Registration Closes Monday Night in TF2 General Discussion

From my short time on comp TF2 it seems we'll get a lot more interesting coverage in terms of articles and the like, and with the playoff teams moved up to IM it's likely to make the competition a little bit closer than before. Woo!

#24 TF2 Daily? What do you think? in TF2 General Discussion
t00lThanks again to everyone for the input. I have gotten a lot of positive feedback from this so I am going to try to make it happen. As a lot of people said, I think for the first few weeks I should just focus on maybe two shows per week with maybe 20-40 mins of actual content in each.

With this being the target, what days of the week would be best? Also, what time would be best? I would like to make sure I am not overlapping with other shows (Fully Charged) or getting in the way of normal scrim times. I was thinking of doing maybe Monday/Thursday at 8 EST? Any other suggestions?

Expect some kind of show in the next two weeks as I have started collecting content and talking to people on steam who want to help!

I would suggest 9 EST, instead, like FC. Also, I wouldn't worry too much about exact times, if you can export it to YouTube. There will always be an interested group that won't be able to watch it at the normal scheduled time.

#31 would it help? in TF2 General Discussion

Yeah, NIU_NIU, that's pretty incredible. I'm guessing you could make a transparent version of these such that you could play a movie in the background? That's one of the set of assets we really like using.

And you already noted the missing commentators (typically 2, sometimes 3) and camera, but I can see that upper right section being used for it anyways.

#12 TF.TV Pub? Any Interest in TF2 General Discussion

I don't know who runs the TF.TV pub but it'd be easier to populate if some of us staff members and acclaimed streamers had admin powers.

Regardless, bookmarking yours, for sure.

#12 Communities vs. Pros V: Man vs. Machine in Events
ArtemIs it possible to sign up somewhere for this?

Im pretty excited.

If you mean to be one of the "community" then it's already passed; normally they ask people to sign up at some point and then they review applications, etc.

#46 Origins of Your Name/Alias in Off Topic

Started from a fantastic game called Magi-Nation, sort of a Pokemon-esque game that was the first game that really inspired me to think about game design and stories in game. Taking a cue from it like every other 90's kid, I started as MagiNinjA in a game called Kingdom of Loathing (holy crap such a long time ago). Some people there were fake-aliasing by capitalizing certain parts of their name. I went with MAgiNinjA, aka mana. My alternate name (Null Flow) comes from the idea that something comes from nothing (in short). Jeez, I could go on about my name but that's a good summary.

#17 anyone wanna help me make an IM preview? in TF2 General Discussion

I would talk with radium and figure things out; I definitely liked what I saw with your LAN previews and it would be pretty awesome to get some coverage for open players. Would certainly be encouraging.

#15 anyone wanna help me make an IM preview? in TF2 General Discussion
KillingI wanna do a segment every week where I "faceoff" against an extremely knowledgeable (knowledgeable in the scene, not necessarily the game) tf2 player. They pick 5 matches that we'll predict from any division. We both make our predictions and then at the end of the week we see who wins. Probably 1 point per correct prediciton, 3 for correct score.

Would people be interested in that?

Will you promise to stop cheating?

TerywjI'd be up for doing a piece on Open or something. Of course I'd like to work with people. Anyone interested?

I'm not official word on what articles goes on the SITE but radium is definitely working on interesting stuff.
