your CPU is holding you back. just upgrade that, RAM, and get to a 64-bit OS and your tf2 experience will improve a lot.

Khakitry turning off multi core rendering
didn't work. it's not a problem with my computer, everyone else's demos work fine. it's just ones i record myself.
CruzI -think- it's to do with interp and network settings, I've seen people with 5ms latency get the same problem. Just play with those till it fixes itself i guess.
i use chris's low network settings, would this cause it?
For some reason my in-game character model "stutters" (for lack of a better word). It has been doing this for a long time and I have no idea why. Here's a video I made to demonstrate:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=jkvbUgbZwDs
i can't figure out why it does this or how to fix it. it's done this across two computers as well.
bumping this because new update. can post the changelog this time because it isn't super long:
* Fixed a bug where game capture would shut down before it had a chance to start on some machines, resulting in black capture or frozen frame
* Fixed an issue where capturing would slow to a crawl in certain rare circumstances and computer configurations
* Fixed a bug with the window capture dialog and sub-region selection numbers resetting
* Fixed a potential mic bug where mic audio can go out of sync (blasphemous sync issues)
* Added basic cropping support (Hold Alt and drag the edge of the source while editing a scene)
YankeeFog's DM servers are always hella full and hard to get into after ~5 est, so it would be really nice to have another DM server to open things up for more people. Between MGEit, MGEit west and Reddit's MGE server, and MGE servers being higher capacity and a DM server, I think it would be beneficial to have another DM server to choose from.
We have two more DM servers that are usually free when the other ones aren't.

Also a group for the servers: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/tftvdm
this is gonna be such a great season
also is reptile really coming back or is that just a troll?
added to try out
i tweeted him tf.tv but i doubt he'll read it. oh well.
i was just on a server and it works fine, did you make sure the server you are on doesn't restrict interp or it's not in your config?
i'm gonna be producing music as well within the next few months, i'd be willing to donate some of this to tftv.
DarkNecridlynadownpournext update will make it so you can further change picmip values right?I hope
right? :D
Doubt it, mat_picmip used to be uncapped, Valve added the cap 3-4 years ago because the cvar (according to Valve) caused "significant performance and instability issues" and they were having to help support people using it who were having the game crash non-stop cause of it and what not.
people have been using it with openplugin without issues, no reason for them to not uncap it these days.
Remember that the TF team said you should have room for at least 2 TF2 installations for the conversion to take place.
jerryjigglerif its the same form of identification as youtube maybe lange and people could get a program to shift the pitch on their stream to avoid detection.
it won't, there's no possible way they can do that especially with all the part reed streams.
TheFragileCompany of Heroes is one of the best games I've ever played.
THIS
it's such an underrated game
