SlicerogueEveryone seems to be hating on the update but imo we shouldn't be complaining when they at least gave a shit about competitive balances this time around. We gave them a list of weapons that were broken and they made attempts to balance those weapons. I'm pretty sure that has never happened before. Rather than thinking about what we didn't get why not think about what we did get... there is gonna be allot of testing that needs to be done so why not rack your brains over that instead of how the update came a day late or how there weren't any changes to matchmaking. You can complain all day about stuff you wished would've happened but what you got and its a good update especially for a 10 year old game and its on the right track which is 10000% better than previous developers.
the thing is, that this update was supposed to be different and attack the core of game instead of more of the same meaningless bs
what are you happy about ? the hats ? the taunts ? the maps ? the contracts ? bugfixes that plagued the game for years that should´ve been fixed a long time ago ? the gameplay changes that were supposed to be fixed years ago ? the fact that you can join your friends server ? (we kind of had that many years ago) ..
its all good no question about it, and many of these support financially the game, but 2 months from now everything will be the same
this won´t attract long term new players nor keep the old players happy, sure it might give a small temporary boost to the game, but apart from that all we´ll see in the future its the same temporary moneygrabbing updates

im still trying to figure out why after 480 days they would choose to announce it and inbetween the announcement and the release they had to delay it an extra day...
it just shows the rigorous testing that typically goes into this game

all i wanted was performance, some anti cheat measures and some updated settings/hud stuff ... and got fucking nothing after almost 500 days
next months halloween, christmas stuff, bug fixing, we should see some real developpment to competitive next summer .. what a fucking joke
and people still are being passive and defending this greedy piece of shit company that´s worth several billion dollars, like they have no means or resources
stop shitting on the devs (even though sometimes they might deserve it), start going after VALVE the company
stop being PASSIVE its not working. How much neglect and abuse can people take in this game, wtf
weren´t they supposedly to have been working on this before MYM, and wasnt released because it wasn´t ready yet and after 480 days they say the exact same shit and people still eat it with a spoon !

How do I get black bars with 144hz

flufI have AMD and I have preserve aspect ratio on and my monitor is set to aspect ratio
When I open tf2 with 60hz there's black bars but anything above that and it's stretched
if the same resolution at 60 hz has black bars and at 144hz is stretched, you need to create a custom resolution, where you define the resolution you want with the 144 hz
amd drivers are notoriously buggy with that shit
