cakesnatapononly 1 server? what do you guys ping to the hk pug servers? as far as i know, you guys seem quite detached from the rest of the asian tf2 community.
I can't speak for the rest of the Chinese players but for the Shanghai ones we get over 200 for HK/KR servers (and AFL servers) which really sucks.
how big is the community in china?

Forcing games to use highest refresh rate?

i doubt the additional 2hz makes a diff on the benq. it only adds more stress to the electronics which already receive limited cooling.
if it were another monitor however, i would consider it worthwhile to push that 60hz to 75hz.
but if you are that keen, have u set -freq 122 in your lauch options?

After reading your story, I look at smokers differently now. Bit more compassion for them and what they are escaping, bit less disgusted.
Yeah, there are people out there that just smoke because it's cool but some of us have a reason and we just smoke to forget about it or sometimes it's just to feel happy again and remember all the good things sometimes.
I'm glad my story changed your perspectives though! Some smokers don't deserve the hate they get
Yea, I've met plenty of people that smoked. They have a special bond when they smoke together.

I have players complain about fixed spawns on some arenas, particularly badlands spire where players will only re-spawn on the pride rock. This only happens during a duel. I've tested the arena alone and the spawns work fine (kill in console, switch class). Using the latest plugin, map + spawnpoints.
edit, fixed it, compiled wrongly

athermalf_blueSalamancerWell we obviously need a few showmatches with hideous pings.Chessclub scrimmed IM once recently, pings were 200+ for the disadvantaged team. 5-0 and 5-0 on US server, 0-5 1-5 on Australian server... pretty meaningless if you ask me.
The 1 round that went into Chess Club's favor on an Australian server = USA will win, obviously.
the scores don't say much unless one map took way longer than the other map on a different server.

look at your power supply too. with a g31 motherboard, i think you'd have a budget psu that might not be able to handle a c2q. your pc is around 5 years old too, so i assume your psu might not be as reliable with a heavier load.
