#9 Viewmodel show/hide script in Q/A Help

bind "1" "slot1; viewmodel_fov 0.1; r_drawviewmodel 0"
bind "2" "slot2; viewmodel_fov 0.1; r_drawviewmodel 0"
bind "3" "slot3; viewmodel_fov 110; r_drawviewmodel 1"

Put this in your autoexec if you want it to be the same across all classes, or in individual class configs if you want variations. Modify the values to your personal preference.

#34 Jeremy Clarkson suspended from the BBC in Off Topic

The BBC can't really win here. Either they lose their second best show and millions of pounds a year or they are seen as having one set of rules for normal people and another set for celebrities. And it's not exactly overly politically correct to want to sack someone because they punched a coworker in the face.

#86 Highschool stories in Off Topic

I was six months into high school and our principal had a heart attack, survived but had to retire. The vice principal at the time was pretty much an Australian Dolores Umbridge, she had the voice and everything. It took her a while to be confirmed as the new principal but once that had happened and she started feeling more comfortable she began to crack down on uniform and tardiness and all that sort of inconsequential shit.

It got to the point where they were stopping classes, year 11 and 12 classes included, with announcements over the PA system telling the teachers to check the colour of our socks. They also put 'wanted' posters up around the school with pictures of kids committing such heinous crimes as wearing a hoodie or wearing black socks (they were meant to be navy blue). This was a public school mind you, with students as young as 11.

The worst of it though was having to listen to this lady rant squeakily every week about how great the school was at teaching because of our good results in external tests and exams. The school was selective...

#10 Logitech no longer replacing g400s in Hardware
Gunbladelogitech products look too much like cyborgs these days. nty

They still function in pretty much the same way, and honestly their form factor is very similar they're just made in a different style (cyborg-esque) so they look a lot more different than they are. My g502 might look like it should be going pew-pew but it still feels pretty much like a mouse, except with a nice thumbrest. Even the extra buttons are designed to stay out of the way, if you don't need them you can just not use them. The 'sniper' button is a bit of an exception, it's around where your thumb rests, but it's actually really easy to not press accidentally after you get used to it.

#188 Ipkane mention's TF2's existence in TF2 General Discussion
enigmanopeAlright then, I just don't understand why you americans are so focused on esea being the last bastion of tf2, if it dies assuming every one of you instantly quits the game and never comes back there are thousands of european, south american, asian, australasian and even african teams that will keep playing the game.i'm not quite sure an alive and kicking african/australian tf2 scene is of much interest to us here

it's a north american issue and it's always boggling to me that people outside this continent keep commenting: oh, MY league will be fine so who cares?

Why do you stick with esea anyway, just run your own league, i'm sure you're plenty capable of it enigma. You're just setting yourself up to be jerked around, the american tf2 scene reminds me of a beaten wife who just keeps coming back for more because 'it's your only option'. Are airfares to lans for 24 players 3 times a year or whatever worth letting lpkane shit all over your game and your friends?

enigmaKanecoThere will be a time esea will stop supporting tf2, (whether it is due to ipkane being a massive cunt or otherwise), but tf2 will stay alive regardless.nope...

and why does everyone call him ipkane?

You called?

Alright then, I just don't understand why you americans are so focused on esea being the last bastion of tf2, if it dies assuming every one of you instantly quits the game and never comes back there are thousands of european, south american, asian, australasian and even african teams that will keep playing the game. And it's blatantly obvious even from 9000 miles away that lpkane is a massive retard, even the csgo players themselves would agree.

#7 Mouse advice in Hardware

I have a g502, it seems somewhat similar? The main issue I have with it is the weight, it's 120g, but that's a lot less than your old mouse. It has cartridges to add an extra 18g though. It's got a massive dpi, up to 12,000, and the sensor apparently doesn't even perform much worse as you get up to ridiculous levels. It's also a bit monstrous. I'd suggest you try it out and see if the fit suits you, but I palm grip it and it works fine. At first I had to work out that my thumb had to rest past the 'sniper' button, before then I was awkwardly bending so I didn't accidentally touch it, but you can tape it/unbind it anyway.

Only issue with mine apart from dodgy software is that the braided cord is coming undone a bit, but I will probably just spam logitech for help/a new mouse if it gets much worse, seeing as it has a 3 year warranty. Doesn't affect the sensor, which is amazing.

Oh the g502 has an optical sensor which is different but probably an upgrade?

#48 Worst setup you've ever had in Off Topic

So I had this appalling laptop that ran at 25 fps on pubs and around 10 whenever I caught a glimpse of pyro flame, with a broken keyboard. I only had this tiny table to put my usb keyboard and mouse on. I'd just bought my massive QCK+ mousepad and discovered the joys of a lower sens so to try to approach being able to turn around with a ~22 inch sens I ended up putting the mousepad directly behind the keyboard, so it was like this:

----laptop----
--mousepad--
--keyboard--

and I spent something like 3 months trying to play with my right hand angled awkwardly over the keyboard to hold the mouse properly. After two of those months I increased my sens in frustration. After the third month I realised that the fucking table had a foldout section that doubled its total size and I could have been playing normally all along.
