cis there a way I can dl the updated version and still have the colour changes I made?
If you changed the colours the right way (just editing the colour definitions at the top of ClientScheme.res), you can copy them over from the old file to the new file fairly easily.
atmoThe thin fonts used in this HUD are unsuitable for streaming because they compress badly, particularly in the killfeed.
It seemed to be fine in the high-quality streams I've watch, but I can understand it being a problem at lower qualities. You can try changing the default font to the heavy weight. Find the "Default" font declaration in ClientScheme.res and replace the word Medium with Heavy in the name field. This will change it in a few places, most importantly the scoreboard and kill feed.
Okay, I just committed a team selection menu and a class selection menu.

I tested everything and it seems to be working fine. Let me know if you run into any problems.

Roololwill you ever do a 32 player scoreboard?
just curious
Alright, I added a 16v16 scoreboard for you (ScoreBoard_16v16.res). It's just the default scoreboard stretched down enough to make room for four extra players on each side. I also fixed the vertical misalignment on the MvM scoreboard, but haven't fixed the ping being cut off yet.
CruzMade an edit of this for casting purposes after running into issues with HudStopwatch in my old one. Combined a few functioning extras from said old one (Main/Team/Class menus).
That looks really nice, I must admit. I had considered a horizontal player bar for the spectator hud, but it's unfortunately not very highlander-friendly. I'll probably make the included 6v6 scoreboard side-by-side at some point. I do not like the current stacked layout too much, and it's a headache to maintain due to it being so different from the default scoreboard.
Great work. Thanks for this.

Don't see why not. It should only take me a few minutes to modify the 24-person for 32. I'll add that later for you.
Roololproblem with MVM scoreboard
wave info is overtop the ping
Hmm, it's *probably* not overlap that's the problem but rather the player list element being too small. I think it was fine on my computer, but I'll try to fix it. As for things being vertically misaligned, that's just because I made scoreboard changes and forgot to update the MvM scoreboard file.
I'll fix this to the best of my abilities next time I get a chance to work on it. Unfortunately, the MvM scoreboard elements are really hard to work with and it seems impossible to change some things.
Expect this to take a couple of days as I'm out of town right now.
Thanks for the bug reports, by the way.
PyrotechnicallyinsaneYes I am, what difference does is make?
It seems to be an issue with how the font is rendered on OS X, at least for some people. For the health/ammo/etc. numbers, it can be mostly fixed by making the containers larger so the top isn't cut off. However, this wouldn't fix the fact that everything is misaligned.
jp_can you make changes to the first post whenever there are updates?
especially a released date.
No. There are no releases.
PyrotechnicallyinsaneI have a small screen and there was a problem with some words and numbers being slightly cut off. The worst of which was the main numbers(health, ammo, last damage, and charge meter) all being cut in half. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Otherwise this hud looks great and I really appreciate the work you're putting into it.

Are you using a Mac by any chance?
Roololbuildings overlap the tourney spec shit
Finally got around to fixing this after nearly a month. Sorry for the delay, this was one of the low-priority changes and took me a while to figure out where I want to position things.
poopfistI'd like having the last damage dealt text somewhat in the middle more, centered and something like 20 pixels down from my crosshair. You don't need to edit anything for me, just tell me where to look/what to edit and I'll figure it out.
Thanks.
CDamageAccountValue and CDamageAccountValueShadow in HudDamageAccount.res. Change xpos of the first to c-66 and xpos of the shadow to c-65 to horizontally center them. Then play with the ypos until you find a value you like (shadow should be one greater than the normal one).
IndimanWhere is Scoreboard_smaller? I only see Scoreboard_bottom and 6v6
I made some changes since that post. ScoreBoard_bottom now has the user stats panel on the bottom of the scoreboard, and should work fine for 4:3 resolutions, so use that.
ShwanI realizes there may be better things to work on at the moment, however do you have plans to customize things like: the main menu, motd, class picking, team picking screens?
Main menu - no.
MOTD - maybe.
Team selection - maybe.
Class selection - maybe.
Minmode version is ready, along with some other minor changes. You'll now have to choose permanently between the default scoreboard and the 6v6 one, as the cl_hud_minmode toggle is used for the placement/size of health/ammo. If you really want to change scoreboards, you'll have to replace the files each time.
If they release TF2 for Linux, I will never use Windows again. :]
