The reason 2 scouts 2 soldiers demo med is the meta isn't because of rigidity or being forced into it, it's because that's genuinely the most effective.There absolutely is plenty stopping people from running different class combinations.
Feel free to play spy all the time in 6s, but don't be surprised when your team loses every game... even if there were limits of 1 per class.
I was on a CEVO team that ran fulltime pyro/heavy/spy/scout/demo/medic...and it worked--very well even, we didn't lose a round. Problem was: people got really really angry. Nasty forum posts, accusations of "trolling", and I'm not sure a single team we played in neither scrims nor matches stuck around till the end; they just quit. We literally couldn't play, despite (or because) the experimental composition was effective.
havent you been talking about matchmaking and not esea for the entirety of this thread? people aren't going to refuse to play you in matchmaking like they would in a scrim

Scrims have been good experiences and in general we rarely tilt, and have been learning a lot just by talking before/after scrims and sometimes watching demos together. Everyone loves each other no homo so the mumble atmosphere is generally good. First highlight is taking 2 rounds off That's So Randal which was the most fun I've had all season. I've improved more in the past several weeks than I have in a year which is cool. Thanks to drshdwpuppet, twitchy, and aim for mentoring and Runaway for paying my fees
