Played with larryyy
two seasons in UGC. He's got open-level DM skill and plays aggro but is pretty good at picking spots and and comms well. When needed, he can provide headshots.
If you need a scout, especially an aggro scout, give him a tryout!
I always want to play soldier, but the team's I've been on always need some other class and there are a million good soldiers out there, so I've had to do everything else.
Cool guy, give him a shot!
Really cool guy, will make a good teammate.
ZoltanplinkoI don't love the demoman changes exactly, but I don't see it as the end of the world. I do hope they tweak it a touch along the lines of Ma3laa's suggestion, but it isn't killing the game.
Zoltan I've played on a team multiple times with a friend who plays demoknight with a controller, and he played it on my 6s team. You could still do effective rollouts with it and the loose cannon, you had decent area denial with it, and if you could reliably airbust with it, scouts could be fought.

I ain't sayin' but I'm just sayin'.
Yes it's UGC steel. He's also played scrims with/against a plat UGC team performing just as well. I know UGC doesn't mean much, but plat UGC is usually about open considering a lot of my friends in open also play in silver. I also don't get why this forum likes to hate on UGC so much. I get that it's a circle jerk, but honestly a huge majority of this forum plays UGC right now, and a lot of them are at the steel level. They just like to pretend their better than everyone else because who cares. Besides you played steel last season.

Not about the level (that's me on the other team, you know), it's that running demoknight got you guys to 3-5 in steel with a well-known and skilled demoknight.
While it's great and all that he can pull 330dpm by staying alive and cannonballing folks, the loss of area denial and burst damage meant the rest of your team got positively annihilated because we just flanked you to death and you couldn't do anything about it.
I'm sure there are going to be teams out there that can sorta make demoknight work, but I feel confident it's not going to be the norm, especially at high open and above.

I prefer to get bourbon, but you can't get much good stuff for $12, unfortunately.
Failing that, this is a really good answer:
MachuPikachuBought my dad a couple shirts from T.J Maxx and hopefully will spend sometime at the lake with him.
*the best thing I can think of is to find something he really enjoys and do that with him
When I started playing games online around the early days of Starcraft and TFC, I went by Celeborn, but often found that name to be already registered at places like battle.net so I needed a new one. At some point, I noticed everyone had names that were supposed to be intimidating or badass or at least try. So, I decided to think of the least intimidating and harmless name I could.
Plinko was the first thing that came to mind and it's kinda stuck for 15 years or so.
Don't know anything about this guy, but I like his name.
Very glad to see someone picking these up again.
Nice guy, good medic, give him a try!
I played demo with Voltron Force in Open until it died a couple of weeks ago. Previously I played two seasons of UGC (one steel, one iron).
I'm going to have relatively free evenings starting April 28 through the end of the season and would like to catch on somewhere as a backup/sub with a mid/low Open team that might be short on subs. Fees are paid in both CEVO and ESEA already.
I'm working on switching to medic for next season, so I've been in mix a lot as medic recently, but I'm comfortable at demo or scout if you need one in a pinch. My soldier DM is probably fine for low open but I've not played it much in 6s.
So, if your team is still alive but needs reliable backups, let me know if I can help out!
Isaac, Don't Starve, Cthulhu Saves the World, FEZ, all the BIT.TRIP games.
I played a ton of Civ IV on a less powerful laptop, not sure if V will run decently on what you have.
I used to inhouse a lot, but haven't seen the ones I know running as much lately. They're good when they're good, problems tend to come when the throwing starts.
I've done mix a few times, but it can be a long queue, TF2center is clearly a worse option but I can usually get into a game within a few minutes and be done before a mix might even start.
