GgglygyNot as shitty of an idea as you might think.
20k can buy 200 rings. Currently TF2 has 36,399 players (47,000 at peak during the last 24h.) Imagine going on TF2 at peak time and dishing out 200 rings in a row all saying VISIT TEAMFORTRESS.TV YOLO or whatever. The 200 messages would literally be uniganorable (unless notifications were off, probably a real small pct of the population.)
Now, imagine these 47k players get blasted with an ad for 3 minutes straight. What percentage of those players would visit the site? 1%? 2%? 5%? 10%? Anyone's guess, however anywhere between 470-4700 people sounds pretty good to me!!! #worth

Wow I'm a shit talking jerk all of a sudden..where is this coming from? I've known Industrial for over a year now and I don't suddenly hate him/his team now even if I got mad at him in pugna once lol. BTW it was you (DS) who called us shit for no reason after we beat you. I don't think anyone who I've interacted with in mumble has anything bad to say about me. All of these people who don't know me/our team at all are making these negative claims that are based on jack shit, whether it's about our skill or character.

June, that was our first time playing with those soldiers and we lost 4-3 after 30 minutes.
Joe, everyone on the team likes each other. We hang out in mumble before/after scrims and play other games together. The likelihood of the team dying even after the season is pretty low.

radiumIf your current team which is playing in "top gear" can hang with IM teams that are playing in "first gear", then what you probably are is a borderline case. If I were you, I'd consider whether hijacking an IM roster is really worthwhile - especially considering that spending one Open season together and contending for a title will give you the improved team cohesion needed to make a legitimate showing come S15 in IM. All of this is assuming that you're as good as you say you are.
