One of the easiest-going and most relaxing people I've ever been around. Pretty decent flank player, too.

TwiggyTwilitlordWhat the fuck is your problem? You sound like you'd rather have had them drop TF2 altogether than have invite without LAN.This is a totally legit standpoint.
Looking at the ridiculous annoucement by Ipkane (dont make me regret this lol) he poses as the saviour of TF2 when all he did was fuck you over and have you say thanks to him.
I mean i understand you guys this is the only viable competition you know for TF2 in NA but if in europe we had to rely on shit like ESL to get the job done game would be dead for a long time already.
In France, we even have a LAN circuit with 2 to 3 regular events. Without a paid league. Because some LANs still want us to fill up slots at their events.
I mean don't tell me in the states there aren't more things like gaming festivals or LAN events similar to GXL. The organisers of said events want to be filled up as much as possible. Sometimes that's all they ask. Attendance.
Stop praising ESEA and start helping fragile, idk
Did he really fuck us over?
Think like a businessman for a second. He could have looked at the numbers and just removed the tf2 division just like a candy store removes a less popular (but unique) brand of chocolate. He's in it to make a profit - and he had enough financial incentive to make the cut altogether.
I'm not a fan of the guy, but it does take a little bit of grace to back away from the knife in the business world. This kind of stuff is 95% of the time NOT about feelings but about finances.
If you remove ESEA, what does the NA tf2 scene turn into? I could see a lot of the "established" people here hanging it up and going elsewhere (or just stopping video games altogether).

Its only dead if Invite kills it.
Open-level TF2 can be VERY alive if they have enough players paid. I worry that losing LAN causes people to lose interest in high-level TF2, though.
As of right now Open isnt quite as big as it was turning out to initially be. Still a good sized season, but not 70+ teams like we were hoping.
Invite fees provide a lot of money to ESEA for the TF2 division. I would imagine that fees would likely be lowered though. Regardless the thing that decides if Invite is dead is if the Invite players kill it.
Wouldn't it be hard to find motivation for a three-month invite grind at $95 if there is no LAN to reward a team for a top-half finish?

I don't get how he doesn't have an IM team. He's good.
Who is doing the IM power rankings this season?
Blueberry's a pretty strong roamer who should help give them a bit of a backbone in IM.
Did some esea thread digging over lunch, and apparently they are waiting for the CS:GO Invite division to be sorted out before releasing the moveups. They should be done by later tonight.
Try to work on one of the main four classes and then offer to backup for an open team to get you some match experience.
You can also try to get on one of the last-minute open teams as a medic or something.
Good luck.
Kindhearted people that deserve a player that's 100% committed to their team. Kimmi is a friendly person to have healing you that won't throw you under the bus after a mistake.
Let's see what this season's signups look like before we make a statement.
Capitals back at it again. I would love to see them bring the same quality of the regular season into the postseason, but they always come out very flat.
25 teams are listed so far with about a week to go and sign up.
Please keep in mind that there will always be SOMEONE on your team that can't get PayPal to work - so make plans to pay about a day or two ahead of the deadline in order to avoid heartbreak. Also, keep track of when your premium runs out so that it doesn't happen on a match night.
He's the type of player that will keep a team together when it's going south. Very committed and mature guy who has blossomed into a good medic.
Very friendly and kindhearted person. He's also a solid player too and could hang in IM next season.
