I have a pair of HD 558's they're lacking in bass..
The whole story behind positional audio depends on how good your Sound Card is, and how well (lets say)a game has been made with it in mind.

I use a ASUS Xonar DG 5.1 which is somewhat a small amp to enchance the sound quality and bass.

M50's are nice althought I have never used them, that's just what I have seen people say on forums.

Um, I used lightboost once with my XL2411t it is nice for a fast paced game(worked like shit tho, stupid faulty backplate), tbh SweetFX looks kind of pointless for TF2 at least in my opinion.

Well a headset is a headphone with a mic, headphones are normal ones w/o a mic.

Anyways... The best thing I can currently come up with is a pair of Sennhesier 201's and maybe some clip on mic, something like a zalman one?

I think people use(or at least used )to get their default hud files from GCFScape, I wish I could be more specific but I have never used it :/

No, I just recently got this one, scan lines in the top right corner.

When lightboost is enabled the scanlines are unbearable.. So in short, lightboost is screwed with that monitor.

But the BenQ XL2420TE is from what I have heard an amazing screen with nice colors, thought it is quite expensive(a lot actually).

I have a normal 3G DA, that's also nice, idk what the price difference is but I bet no one realy uses 6400 dpi on a mouse. So maybe have a look at the normal one.

Okey, setting it back to 120hz fixed that.. didn't work before because lightboost was being a poopy head.. Now it's normal 120hz with no scanlines. Will try to add it again, maybe it was acting up because it changed from 144hz to 120hz lightboost rather then 120 to 120hz lightboost?

I got a BenQ XL2411T yesterday, so far it's a massive upgrade from my old horrid 60hz cr*p.. But I have one issue.

The monitor has some light lines at the top right corner.(I think these are called scanning lines)

Tho the small part of the scan lines isn't that big of an issue. [still a little annoying but I can live with that..] But the main reason I bought this monitor was for this fancy thing called 'Lightboost', althought that does work, and the motion blur is completely gone and it's really clear.. The scan lines do get a boosted when I turn on lightboost, I have googled a bit and seen other people say they have it, but I haven't seen anyone really try to fix this or is this an issue with just bad luck at getting a bad panel?
