Holy crap I remember that too from last year, and it pissed me off. Like I can dig healthy rivalry, but not when it's something like saying "you're wasting your time" when clearly they made such an effort to show themselves and be a contender.

Is there any way to let the producers/directors or Dashnerr to turn off the Overlay with the casters/cameraman/i52 info during the highlight reel? Every highlight reel seems cluttered, especially with the pictures blocking almost the entire kill feed.

Arx was looking at the highlight reel and mis-explaining the plays, he thought the WARHURYEAH Kritz just forced the uber, when it got 3 kills with one sticky, and then forced Shade out of choke.

He thought the Tek Headshot missed on shade at the end of the reel, when it did kill him.

It would be nice to have that overlay off for the reels so that the casters/viewers can clearly see the killfeed

If there are any mistakes in who casted the match, please post it here so I can edit it properly. Most of the casters didn't introduce themselves prior to the match so it's difficult to know who's who.

May I just voice my concern of getting people to sign up that want to play heavy/engineer/medic for a highlander game? 18 people signed up would be no problem, but most would want scout, soldier I would guess.

Highlander seems difficult to just "make teams when we're all there" because of how risky it would be to get 2 of each class. Sure, someone can play a class they may have never played so that Highlander can be played, but if they don't know enough about their class it could be rough.

Fee is pretty stiff imo but if that means we have the whole gaming center to ourselves I'd say that's not horrible.

I played cp_edifice in that pre-season, and I studied it with my team endlessly. We found it to favor defense far more, especially with major offclasses like heavy and sniper. With more enthusiasm it could get more exposure to see how it plays out

I didn't even notice that each side had a blacklight color for each team, that's awesome
