They've been around a couple years but went on hiatus for a while after their original singer died. He was only 25 as well - pretty shit. There's a short documentary on them which is heart-wrenching and definitely worth a watch:
AC/DC were one of the first bands I really got into after my dad gave me his copy of If You Want Blood You've Got It on tape. Spent a lot of time looking up ye olde tabs for Riff Raff and Let There Be Rock among many other tunes. He had a chance to see them in 1995 during the Ballbreaker tour but didn't and regretted it ever since. We finally got to see them in Glasgow during the Black Ice tour. I only just nipped in past Kirriemuir a couple weeks ago to see the Bon Scott statue as well.
He had dementia for a number of years and unfortunately it's only a matter of time at that point. Truly one of the most influential rock bands ever. RIP

I think the Brown Album is underrated (shame they only every play Fisticuffs live now) and Tales from the Punchbowl is probably their worst, despite having come crackers like Electric Grapevine on it. Pork Soda's my favourite.

SpaceCadetBut isn't Lightbringer already forged and being used? Stannis had the sword already and pulled it from the fire they set on the beach a few seasons ago. I believe the last anyone saw of Stannis and/or the sword was after he lost the battle near Winterfell.
I have not read the books yet, is this one of the instances where the books and the show differ greatly?
