why have kalinka in rotation if when its chosen it only takes one guy whining for an admin to change map
edit: and even dumber if its the captain who actually could have banned it if he wanted to -_-

#11 What if ETF2L had a (item) paywall? in TF2 General Discussion

It could be so that ETF2L-Low players don't have to pay but dont have prizes either, and from Mid onwards its 2 ref per player going directly to prizes... i mean, even if its some silly ingame items or a few keys, a small prize is better than nothing
i think its worth experimenting in a 6s cup with this concept as snack did in ultiduo
edit: why not just put a etf2l poll and see what people think

#1 What if ETF2L had a (item) paywall? in TF2 General Discussion

ETF2L prizepools are way lower than ESEA, since ESEA charges cash money for playing in all of its division.
What if we had a middleground between the two systems that could get people more invested in ETF2L and maybe bring a slight increase in prizepool?

Imagine if each 6s team in ETF2L paid 12 ref per season to participate - 2 per player, something anyone could have.
Thats around 1€ per team, multiply by 200 teams and you get a humble 200€ added prizepool!

The good thing about doing it with refined or other ingame items is that you wouldn't even need a bank account so people under 18 without an income could do it without any issue.
This could be used to give some in-game items as prizes in the lower divs and maybe even some cash prizes in high!

Would that make ETF2L more interesting? Would it backfire and make teams leave? What do you think ETF2L needs?

#723 Comanglia's Config / FPS Guide in Customization

Comangliacoms is updated - Download - Changelog
TLDR: comanglia's config with a few changes and fixed suggested by mastercoms to improve fps - for example disabling low violence mode since actually lowers the FPS

#653 mastercomfig - fps/customization config in Customization
//sys_minidumpspewlines 500 // Basically the number of lines saved to a log file from console. No FPS boost but 15% lower FPS variance
sys_minidumpspewlines 500 // You're setting it to the default value of 500. It doesn't affect FPS or FPS variance anyway, it does not become a factor in normal play as it only is used when TF2 crashes.

does this command matter at all? its for logs but you do say it affects FPS variance, could you expand on that? nvm silly me

#636 mastercomfig - fps/customization config in Customization
Lindonsnip

What applications do you have in the background? Laptops come preinstalled with loads of bloatware programs, uninstall them and run superantispyware to make sure.
also looking into comfig.cfg you can change things yourself to optimize for your specific setup, for example change mat_queue_mode 2 to -1 since you have a dual core.
ALSO make sure the laptop is using your graphics card instead of intel graphics.

#29 What os do you play tf2 on? in TF2 General Discussion
gemmpoorer graphics drivers support on linux (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_36yNWw_07g) and weird mouse accel that i never bothered to fix were the problems that stopped me from using ubuntu when I tried it

ya the bad thing about gaming in linux is that most desktop environments dont give an option to disable m. accel and force you to google how to do it manually modifying some obscure text file

#13 mixme.tf (not a real domain) in Projects
Miju@spanish_mixers: check out the changes. Notes are in the edits of the original post.

using chrome here, clicking on "Get proof" downloads a file called "download" without any extension
could you make it have a .png extension by default?
