old
edit: new keyboard
Hoping to upgrade to a Microsoft Wheel Optical mouse and some white mech keyboard- where's a good place to find those for less than 50€? All versions of that mice I find cost over 50€ with the shipping.
Been using this cheap Logitech mouse for like a year already!
I like the changes in mid for a2a but theres one thing I didn't like
The removal of the top entrance here
now pushing from/to second is way more chokey than before
otherwise loving the changes and the progress
edit: also last point doesnt seem to have any problem but when theres people there you can barely see them from how dark point is
extelevision is back?? Hype!
superb audio editing on this thing

click the "More" dropdown
click "Follow"
this adds all public things teamfortresstv posts on steam to show up on your https://steamcommunity.com/my/home without them being on your friends list.
just a handy tip.
thats pretty handy
maybe it should be made clearer in the original post, as the steam link where you'd expect to do that is to the TFTV group, not profile
The whole teamplay aspect and how unique the gameplay is. As Sitebomb said
SiTeHBu0mbbyou feel that you are playing a pivotal role in the whole 'machine' so to speak.
and this is very easy to notice from the first time you try comp
you notice how everyone behaves different. how the team acts as one (or tries to for that matter)
Tbh when I started all I wanted was being able to rocket jump, pull off airshots and mimicking all those epic moments on TF2 fragmovies :)
Also, we take it for granted by now, but the service that pages like TF2Lobby and now TF2Center offer for the community is amazing, specially when it comes to introducing new players to the competitive format.
Hello Mould. Played 2 lobby on this map and people really liked it!
There are very few healthpacks tho. Maybe add one in this entrance to mid ?
they are really scarce atm
Also I found it a bit uncomfortable how this window blocks you and you have to jump
cant just walk through it without pressing space
Thanks for the map anyway. Would love to try a new version someday :)
chambssomeone should make three koth maps using each point on gpit as the center
point A would prolly suck as much as it does now and a tower for point on koth would be pretty bad
an assymetric 5cp version of gpit would be interesting tho
Before I was 10: Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds (AoE2 reskin), Tortuga, Worms World Party, Warcraft 3, Praetorians, Quake 3 (Bid for Power DBZ mod ftw) in that order I think
lethargist
Ratchet & Clank and Metal Slug :D
used to have a NeoGeo emulator and would play multiplayer Metal Slug with friends for hours...
Pinball was probably the part of anyone's over 15 childhood
HellbentStevieWhilst It's understandable Valve really wants to do a great job with matchmaking, if they don't "Step on it" or get it out soon, TF2 may literally die (or at least the comp side) due to OW. Sure the mm may bring new players, but if at this rate we continually lose players/teams, there will be no "Veterans" to make the competition more intense.the comp scene is like 1/100 of the playerbase
There's over 1500 players registered for 6v6 in ETF2L every season.
Don't know the numbers in NA, South America, Asia, Australia or South Africa (Yes, people play 6s in South Africa) but counting HL and people that never played in a league and only play lobbies (more than you'd think) theres probably at least 5000 players actively playing comp every week, around 5% of the all-time peak of TF2 players a year ago
Slick Rick as demo
got the eyepatch and all
SiTeHBu0mbbTL;DR: Feels smoother, actual improvement most likely negligible and/or a placebo type effect.
At 60Hz it will take 16 ms to get to the next frame where a 120 Hz it will be 8 ms
You could basically flick like a retard all the time without getting a headache
You can notice the different from going from 60 Hz to 85 or just 75
Will it make you better? Not necceseraly
Will it look better? Definatelly. Trying high refresh makes movement feel more "real" and very smooth to the eye.
Been trying a couple soldier rollouts and this is the best I got so far
Any other route would delay the rollout a lot but there is still room for experimentation
