SneakyPolarBearI trade a lot and I could probably get like a bunch of vanilla stranges to be signed if that would help.
Anything helps :)
Dominations for Donations (stolen from drploxo's idea)
Still not 100% decided on which charity we do this for. A few really good ones were mentioned to me by friends.
http://www.charitywater.org/ - We're a non-profit organization bringing clean, safe drinking water to people in developing countries. 100% of all public donations directly fund water projects, and we prove every dollar using photos and GPS coordinates on a map.
http://www.onestepcamp.org/ - Children's Oncology Services, Inc. believes that a diagnosis of cancer should not prevent a child from experiencing the simple joys of childhood. A lot of tough challenges come along with being a young cancer patient. Friends, school and sports are often replaced by doctor visits, sick days and chemotherapy treatments. Through our One Step programs, we offer camp experiences and other educational and excursion programs throughout the year that allow children with cancer to just be kids.
http://www.childsplaycharity.org/ - Child’s Play seeks to improve the lives of children in hospitals around the world through the kindness and generosity of the video game industry and the power of play. When gamers give back, it makes a difference!
Please visit each website before casting your vote all 3 are amazing charities.
Voting is over!
Name chosen is "Tip of the Hats"
I don't have any great ideas for a name for this event. Decided a post on the subject kind of like what Fully Charged did was the best option. So in this thread please post potential names that you come up with and +frag your favorites.
synchroDonation Ideas:Please explain.
--Foot
lol there will be a poll for content ideas but one of them is going to involve like if people donate $100 total towards the "foot fund" I will play pyro with my foot. stuff like that.
Tip of the Hats TF2 Fundraiser Benefiting OneStepCamp.org
Here's the gist of it:
The charity we have chosen to support is http://www.onestepcamp.org/. It will be a 2-day event starting at Noon eastern on Saturday and finishing up after midnight, with the same times on Sunday. We are going to hold it on the weekend of April 13th-14th. With such a long schedule we will probably cover just about everything TF2 related and might even show some other games if interest is there.
I'm going to put up a few threads from time to time and use the +frags to help make some decisions or gather feedback regarding the event. I will try to link them back to this original post and update this thread with each polling thread.
If you would like to help, we are going to be collecting lots of TF2 items, Steam game gifts, gaming gear, or anything you think might draw some donaters. Add me on steam if you have anything to spare.

it was done for extv casts a long time ago. it was actually pretty cool i think but i think it's pretty hard to implement and as far as sponsors go there just arent many video game sponsors that are interested in tf2 when lol/dota/sc2 is more lucrative.
bump. Meeting is at 7cst tonight(1 hr 45 min).
that would require enough players willing to do mentoring. so... any players IM/invite willing to help with mentoring sessions as a potential donation drive thing post here or contact me.
Also it was mentioned earlier in the thread but anyone who would be willing to donate strange weapons(mostly competitive 6v6/highlander weapons) and gift wraps/description/name tags just add me on steam.
bump. We are going to have a meeting on Tuesday, Feb 5th at 7pm cst to discuss a rough schedule and gather more ideas. Anyone interested in helping out feel free to attend. TFTV Mumble: 173.208.239.18, 64738
