Ideally you want to spend about 389£ on a CPU before realising that neither the mainboard nor the RAM will work with it.

Good catch, i checked for the previous case but not that one. Only up to µATX so either µATX mobo or we're back to looking for a case. No problem with the GPU length though, 319mm is plenty.
Yep, dust filters, all around good case, two fans.
It's a silent case, so in addition to some noise dampening material the intakes are a bit more restrictive, meaning a third fan could be worth it (no rush though, you can always add that later if you want lower temps), but if it's not too expensive it's definitely the best option.
Yes, although none in the front where you usually need the most. Better than nothing I guess.
The case in general is kind of mediocre though, even for a budget case.
I guess there are no good options in the local shops so you'll have to live with some compromises either way.
Yeah, in that case I'd get the 2060 Super.
No, that's actually worse. I guess the MWE Gold will have to do then.
Yeah, built-in PSUs are shit anyway. What about dust filters though? It's easy to buy an extra fan, dust filters not so much.
It is slightly slower, but not 50€ worth slower, so that's a thing. Not worth if it's reference (single fan) 5700 vs aftermarket 2060 Super.
5700 XT is definitely faster, same thing though. There's only so much a single fan can do, but if it's an aftermarket version then I'd say the extra 20€ would definitely be well spent.
My issue isn't with 550W, that's plenty for this build, but with the MWE Gold. Performance is ok but the components are not great. Not as in "this will die soon" but like "there's a reason why the warranty is 5 years, not 10". Like I said not terrible, but not something I'd pay 74€ for. Any other options?
The case would fit, but no dust filters and only one fan included. Not sure if there are better options available in local shops.
Any cheaper 2060 Super? What about the 5700?
PSU isn't terrible but at that price you could do better.
Full ATX mobo -> full ATX case (µATX would be too small). Check the max supported GPU length and that should be it. Not that a 2060 is particularly large, so any ATX case should be more than big enough.
decemberit came from the front of the case where the fan controller is so i think it’s a fan thing maybe??
Yep, power for the fan controller.
If your motherboard isn't shit the built-in fan controls should be better than a manual 2/3 speed switch fan controller that some cases got. If you don't use the fan controller it doesn't need power.

Always go for dual channel RAM.
An RX 580 should actually be good enough for 144 fps in Fortnite on medium if you're on a resolution lower than 1920x1080.
TF2 and Fortnite don't care about 6 cores so this should be slightly faster, but much cheaper.
Not really a fan of the 200R because it got no dust filters but you can swap that out for whatever you like.

Budget?
Or just 144 fps on medium (which resolution?) as cheap as possible?
Quite a few improvements are possible, I just need to know whether they should be towards higher performance at the same price or same or at least still acceptable performance for your purposes at a lower price.
Not sure how I'd score them on reliability.
The XG2402 should be a proven design with the same 24" 144 Hz TN panel everyone has been using for years. Not that different from all the other 24" 144 Hz TN monitors really.
The G2590FX uses one of those 24.5" panels that are usually found in 240 Hz monitors (didn't check the exact panel though) which could mean either it's running well below what it's capable of and might last longer or it's a shit panel and didn't make the cut, which would suggest the opposite.

Well not the CPU itself really.
The RAM runs slower and the connection to it also runs slower so it's much more noticeable.
#3433
Doesn't mean it's running at 3000 MHz if you didn't set it to 3000 MHz.
#3434
Not sure why these two are the options. Why did you choose these two specifically, son?
So you know the performance isn't what it should be and your solution is to throw 700$ at the problem and hope it disappears?
Clean windows install, clean TF2 install, clean config. Before that don't even think about blaming the hardware.
Well how many fps are you getting now? Don't expect miracles.
On average.
Are we talking about the 9900K? How close do you think it'll be while streaming with 8 cores vs 12 cores?
You could also just use GPU encoding.
Just because they cost about the same doesn't mean they perform the same.
No, updating a BIOS is not hard.
I still don't know why you're upgrading.
