Surely an easy way to prove your innocence is to just have both accounts show up in a match log. Grab two friends, set up an ultiduo match, and then you have a log as proof that you're two separate people without having to dox yourselves.

The parking lot BBQ hosted by prograde at Fullerton LAN
diemosthe most depressing story is this game has somehow existed for almost 2 decades with a really incredible competitive scene but somehow hasn't been able to grow or reach further out. I remember being in middle/highschool thinking this shit was about to blow and still after all this time its a cesspool of toxic weirdos (not to say there aren't great people around here but the stinkers are really fucking stinky)
okyaaaI'll tell you a depressing story, dwindling RGL team numbers.
Be the change you want to see in the world. The TF2CC newbie cup is getting a fair amount of attention from the recent Steam community post https://www.teamfortress.com/post.php?id=213746. To all the experienced players, this is your chance to coach and mentor the future of the competitive scene.
Or you can sit around complaining that the scene is dying, up to you.
TF2 Coaching Central is a 4000+ member discord server focused on helping new players and introducing players to competitive TF2 with classes, pickup games, and fun events. We just announced our sixth NA 6s Newbie Cup, with signups open now until December 11.
Players with no to minimal competitive experience sign up to be placed on a team of six, led by a coach who will teach the basics of how to play the format and help them learn the maps. They will have three weeks to learn and practice together as a team before facing off in a tournament, scheduled for January 6-7, 2024.
Matches will be brought to you by our casting partner Fireside Casts, and the prize pool for winners and coaches is sponsored by Mannco.store
Our Newbie Cup events are a great starting point for anyone interested in trying out competitive 6s for the first time or looking to make their RGL newcomer/amateur debut in 2024, as well as an opportunity for more experienced players to help foster the future of the competitive scene by teaching newbies. We're currently taking signups for participants and team coaches! Tell your friends!

The Fireside team going through all the demos and compiling a whole LAN frag video before pics came out is crazy
One guy on my team is the limiting factor for availability and I simply have his work schedule memorized
aierawhat was the resolution of the design uploaded to teespring out of curiosity
Also curious about this. The original images had 300 dpi resolution, but in my experience this wouldn't be the first time an image was sent through discord and the recipient accidentally used the low res discord thumbnail/preview instead of the full res original.
When the designs first went live I also asked about the odd way teespring had attached the two stickers and was assured it was just a glitch in how teespring displays the design.
RahmedIt's a bit late to the party, but can I put my medic guide in?

It would help if you ever finished writing it

botmodeMaybe it's just a 4head take or whatever but just schedule more time for games?
Start the day at 9-10am or something instead of noon and you have a couple extra hours to work with. Unless it's that hard to get gamers out of bed before noon. But really, LAN is an all day event and should be planned like one; not using the morning and not having buffer time for unexpected delays built in means you're asking to run into the wee hours of the night.
The in game demo recording starts as soon as you load in, which means it records all of pregame before both teams ready up. I use it because P-rec is Windows only, but not having to fast forward through 20 minutes of pregame to grab a clip is handy.

ICYMI: TF2 Coaching Central is back with Newbie Cup 5 for summer 2023, with a prize pool sponsored by Mannco.store!
TF2 Coaching Central is a 4000+ member discord server focused on helping new players and introducing players to competitive TF2 with classes, pickup games (now with IM and Main pugs!), and fun events. Our Newbie Cup events are an ideal starting point for anyone interested in trying out competitive TF2 for the first time, as well as for coaches that want to help grow the competitive scene by teaching new players.
Players with no to minimal competitive experience will sign up to be placed on a team of six, led by a coach who will teach the basics of how to play the format and help you learn the maps. HL players tend to scrim on weekends with default matches on Mondays, so if staying up late on a "school night" isn't an option for you that schedule might work better.
Why can't you have an experienced player guide and mentor new players without actually playing on the team? Taking a spot that could have gone to a new player seems counterproductive - in fact, you're taking multiple spots because once one team rosters an experienced medic every other team is at a disadvantage if they don't - and newbie medics should be fostered too.
As a new player, I will say that you can watch video tutorials and map reviews till the cows come home but nothing really compares to actual experience playing and trying to put that knowledge to practice. Newbie Mixes, pugs, and eventually something like the TF2CC Newbie Cup, which is probably the closest experience to actual league play in terms of having a practice schedule and a consistent team for a few weeks, in addition to easy access to a more experienced mentor.
Also, not even main calling, just how to comm properly needs to be in the new player curriculum. Communication is the biggest thing separating comp from casual play and I'm surprised at how many people trying to play AM and even IM fail to provide even the most basic comms and will say like 5 words all game. Learning to talk while shooting is a skill that needs to be learned and practiced.
