Saint_The value of the mined Bitcoins was $3,713.55 and ESEA will be donating 100% of the $3,713.55 to the American Cancer Society. ESEA will also match 100% of this amount for a total of $7,427.10 donated. ESEA is also increasing the Season 14 League prize pot by $3,713.55.
+ all of the freemium they are giving away, as well as potential hardware? (i have no clue what ESEA intends to do with damaged computers) imo is a decent way to apologize (considering they're losing quiet a few $$$ from this). From what they've told us, it went under everyone's radar, and they are taking precautions against it. We might've jumped into conclusions to fast blaming ESEA for "farming money"
There are no apologies, only justice for committing a serious crime. I don't care how much money they donate to charity, how much they try to "buy" us back, or how much revenue loss their business will face. The people responsible(it literally can not be one guy) for this need to be entirely removed from the organization and be held to a proper act of justice in court.

The fact that this idea went beyond just that and actually happened is very unsettling. I see nothing but malicious intent. Honestly hope someones takes up a lawsuit. There'd be a lot of damages. This shit seriously better not slip by for some freemium and some prize money. They used YOUR property without your knowledge to make money and then not credit you.

hanbroloshrtSo today TF2 isnt loading my config correctly. I've been running steam pipe with no issues all weekend. Now it loads a nearly default config, cept for like my graphics and like part of my crosshair switcher. Haven't touched any files or directories since I've last played. Not sure what happened.Sounds like it's loading an old config from steam cloud and overwriting yours to me. That's what the issue was with me, not sure how it fits into steampipe though.
Turned off steam cloud like a year ago.
