#90 what's yo inches/360 in Off Topic

Wow. I'm shocked to see anyone uses anything close to mine.

Degrees Per Inch: 404.8
Degrees Per Centimeter: 159.4
Inches Per 360: 0.9
Centimeters Per 360: 2.3

I apparently had a 0.6" 360 sensitivity when I used a deathadder at 3500dpi but now with the Zowie AM, it's 0.9. Amazing how much slower it seems than before. I don't understand how anyone can use 10" and higher.

#4 a thing that i am doing in TF2 General Discussion

I think it's a cool idea and all, but it's kind of silly to post about it before you even have permission to make it happen. Seems like it'll be really easy to become unable to deliver on the promise.

I do hope it works out, though.

#11 say binds in TF2 General Discussion

Two things about chat binds.

1) Exactly 0% of them are funny.
2) They make the person who spams them look like an incontrovertible moron 100% of the time.

#6 Help Me Pick the Right Mouse in Hardware
DouglasI've got a really shitty mouse/mousepad combo, and I'd love to upgrade. Only problem is I can't find a consistent opion anywhere. Half the people say puretrack talent is the best, other half say puretrack sucks get the goliathus. Lots of people say g400 has accel, other people swear by it etc.

My hands are only a bit larger than yours and I use a similar grip. I'm thoroughly enjoying the Zowie AM with a puretrak talent pad. I use a substantially higher sensitivity than it sounds like you use, but there seems to be zero acceleration and flawless tracking with this combo. The DPI will be higher than 800, but DPI is a gimmick anyway. Just lower your sensitivity to make up for the difference.

#11 Windows XP + fullscreen = black screen in Hardware

This is most likely the config more than the OS. Try taking out your config and running TF2 with -autoconfig. See if the problem still exists. Most likely, it'll be fine, but who knows

#14 Need new computer stuff in Hardware

Get an ivy bridge regardless of everything else. Hyperthreading is a joke, but the ivy bridge is faster per clock and enables you to utilize PCIe 3.0 in the near future.

I'd say go for the K-series even if you're not overclocking. You might at some point in the future.

#15 Effect of hardware on player ability in Q/A Help
enigmai'd say better hardware enables you to get better faster, but it won't necessarily push the ceiling on how good of a player you can become

This. Upgrading your equipment will definitely help you get to the best of your ability, but it won't really raise the ceiling much, if any.
