BioIs anyone else having problems with crashing? I crash every 5-10 minutes, but in that little time I play its really fun. Hopefully they fix the problem.

I crashed a bit too, only reason I never figured out how to play.

Shoulda went for one of those AMD APUs if you wanted to be that cheap. Actually they can use a lot of power anyways. How much power draw can you handle?

I thought this was going to be an embarrassing video because it was a "Legend of" :(

#2 SSD Question in Hardware

Depends, but usually yes. For source games, make symbolic links of GCFs to wherever you want to put them (you still have to download them into the main drive though unless you torrent). For other games, I'm not sure, but they usually have a folder in steamapps/common and might be totally independent of steam (so it's a go).

-OpServ:#tf2mix- This channel has been temporarily moderated due to a possible join flood attack detected in this channel; network staff have been notified and will investigate.

There was a flood of about 30 people joining the channel at once and gamesurge has automatic protection. Gamesurge's automatic protection involved muting that channel (+m mode). I'm unmuting the channel for now so it should be all good.

#52 the invite poll in TF2 General Discussion

Biggest problem is that it looks like an easy money grab. I'm sure most invite teams could forgo scrimming and get the IM paycheck every season (and potentially make more money since they don't have to fly to LAN). Even if they forfeit out of playoffs, any team that played against them has the potential for their record to be screwed over and end up with terrible seeds.

#33 the invite poll in TF2 General Discussion

So either shaft a team or shaft a league. I'm betting most people prefer to shaft the team considering how anti-competitive it'd be.

Of course it will, the question is when. Probably 2 months after the 700 series comes out.

#29 [S4L] New Clan w/Server & website, recruiting in Recruitment (looking for team)
DraGuLaI spent 8 years in the US military and Im a big boy trust me. I have a shit ton of my spare time invested in this so far and did not appreciate what was said. It is not easy starting up a clan and all that goes with it so I was kinda looking for responses like, hey man to make it better take off some of those god damn plugins u got" or "yo man you site really could use a message board" or something like that. for fucks sake I can take criticism all day long but u gotta atleast give me something to go by other than "holy fuck thats a big ass wall" and "the most awkward use of bold and underlined i have ever seen" what kind of responses are those? If you guys want a productive community it def. needs to be more constructive and inviting to new people. Seems like this site has potential but with assholes like those (myslef included) it can just tear the community apart.

Aesthetics matters, people are easily turned off by aesthetically unpleasing posts. The first like is the server IP and name, which I understand is important, but highly force. Usually there's some sort of greeting or catch first, not just the subject. Think about commercial and ads: what they're advertising comes after the catch phrase. Product placement is near the end only (I mean how many commercials on TV do you see have the brand and product first? Most of them come after the commercial). Having the post look clean and professional matters.

Unfortunately, it might be late to change the impression you've made by jumping the gun with the name calling. And it's just going to keep escalating because both sides are taking the provocation (you included). I think it should be important to be level headed even with people you don't like, especially when you admin a community. It could lead you to do things that make you seem power-hungry and such. Temperance is important.
