Why is there always a ridiculously viewbotted stream now? The last 2 weeks straight there's always been someone with 20k viewbots and a few people with 2-6k viewbots.

#119 The only thing his parents really could have done was get him forcibly put into a mental institution, but seeing as he had no history of violence or self harm, it's kinda hard to force someone in there. Realize he was probably getting mental counseling for years funded by his parents and even the therapist also reported him. A lot of people knew what was wrong but would have to walk a really grey line to actually stop him before it happened.

Also, you seem to be forgetting he's an adult. His parents can't immediate force shit on him, let alone him to come along. You're way oversimplifying the problem, as this was a chronic problem that normally doesn't lead to a mass murder and they were trying to get him help. I mean maybe you could blame his parents for parenting him the way he did, but I don't think many people could honestly handle the situation they had with their son any better. They seemed to have put a good amount of effort into helping him but it didn't work.

Granted this is all assumption, but there was history and they were apparently driving to SB once they saw his last video. I don't think you can blankly say that they should have been more proactive without being ignoring his privacy (in which case, you might want a more police state ie more NSA/wiretapping/etc).

He was reported by his family/therapists multiple times, but police didn't have a good enough reason to send him to a psych ward. His family tried to get him help, police questioned him but what can you legally do if they guy hasn't actually done anything illegal and can act mentally stable in front of them.

I don't think he was questioned after his final video though, so they probably needed to act on that.

Firefox has better plugins. Adblock+, Noscript and Greasemonkey are 100x better than their chrome counterparts.

Chrome is much better for web dev though.
