still would like to buy 3s. I bought the piston 4 (the first hybrid) and they weren't so comfortable for active use, but they sounded good. for me it's 3 > hybrid > 2

both my piston 2 and piston 3 broke within a day of each other after a good 3 years of usage. i can't find a super legitimate site to buy one besides from aliexpress, but i don't really want to wait 2 months for them to come.

i figured someone on tftv would have an old one available considering the hype they had around here. i liked the piston 3 a little bit more but i would love to pick up either one. dm me with a pic and a price (include s&h, im in ny) and we can go from there.

he mainly plays fps and mobas, so I don't think he'll actually play witcher, so you can disregard that. Battlefront or other similarly intensive games will probably be the extent of his gaming.

as for the mouse, I really don't know much, but any high end mouse (decent sensor) with more than 2 programmable buttons should be good

Ive approached him about ips or 120hz but he seems pretty indifferent, so any 60hz monitor is fine

i've spoken to my friend a few more times and he wants to play games like battlefront/witcher 3 at 60 fps on max settings, so i suggested a regular tn panel. he also wants a deathadder and thinks he'll overclock his cpu. i don't know what for, but it's why i chose the cpu/mobo combo. i'll ask him again later what specifically he needs to overclock for.

when i said cut parts, i meant downgrading, such as going from 970 to a 280x or not getting an overclockable cpu.
