#109 TF2 Feature Requests and Bug Fixes in TF2 General Discussion

Since this got dug back up:

Fall damage is always semi-random, even with damage spread disabled. A cvar for controlling it would be nice.

#45 koth_viaduct_pro6 release in Map Discussion

You can get blockbullets to not split visleafs even if they're not func_details by editing the blockbullets material file (because visleafs are cut at compile time and hammer uses custom materials that way); someone on tf2maps.net did that and posted about it and shared their vmf at some point.

#66 A quick survey on cyber bullying in Off Topic

1) What is your definition of cyber-bullying?
wanton harassment via internet
2) Have you experienced cyber-bullying?
people tried?
3) In your opinion, how different is cyber-bullying from traditional bullying
it's worse in that the victim gets more invested and less-bad in that it's usually not during the peak developmental point in peoples' lives (though some let it me)
4) Do you feel that cyber-bullying is a problem in the community? (ETF2L/ TF2)
much, much, MUCH less than in others
5) If anonymity on the internet was removed, do you think it will effect cyber-bullying?
no

#1 Physics for Game Programmers in Off Topic

(Physics for Game Programmers : Networking for Physics Programmers)

One of the GDC talks that I was waiting to come out online finally did. It's excellent because it's a fairly straightforward explanation and showcase of common games networking methods and where the do/don't work, as well as some somewhat advanced stuff.

also set them detail sprites vbsp/etc!!! (but make sure you're using a low-detail-density-generating grass texture to not rek frames like old versions of sunshine did)

I think it's okay to have grass because otherwise non-comp players will be confused whenever they see it.

With a makeover, it's just "Oh, that's what competitive editions do. So that's what it is!"

The grass is definitely "inside out" though, there should be less grass where people walk, not more
