#34 blaze or seagull in TF2 General Discussion
corsaDaijouBlaze is the best roamer NA has ever had imho
Playing with enough ping to make some EU players leave rosters as a roamer, playing smartly and being able to do such consistent work as roamer is why he's the best. Even if he doesn't have the DM skills as Mike, his knowledge of the game and his timing make him way more effective and lethal, specially in maps like product

I'm not saying blaze is or isn't the best, but he doesn't get that much more ping than the average soldier, as he gets around 50 on scoreboard.

I live in the same place as blaze. 110 ping soldier to dallas is pretty fucking hard and always tilted me to the moon. that was a reality in pretty much every match back then, playing against relic, jaeger, and tyler on like 5-20 ping. I could barely get through a match and do not enjoy playing soldier in those conditions. idk how blaze did it really.
these days conditions are better (server locations) and with internet upgrades in my area (better isp, also fiber) its probably closer to 80 dallas, 60 chi, and I'm not sure about colorado, id guess 45-50 (scoreboard).

then again I don't think seagull had the greatest ping, still better than blaze but yeah. I remember him having ~65 when I played a match against 20id like a thousand years ago. afaik he moved and pings better now, but it was after tf2.

#20 Help me become the next Michael Jordan in Off Topic

its not like he's 6'9.
6'3 is tall, but not tall enough where he can just stand under the net and win.

#5 help with encoding pls in Videos

make sure you don't get quality loss going into vegas (use uncompressed or lossless avi)
frameblending from 300 or even 600fps source footage will make the result a lot smoother.

#15 is this real in TF2 General Discussion

I used it in quake when I had bad routing. lowered my ping from like 105 to 48

it only really helps if you have bad routing, I pinged 45 to the same server when my ISP fixed their shit (many months later)

#26 Biking help in Off Topic
femmebruleeI second the option for a Hybrid bike. I purchased mine in 2007 and it's still wonderful, it's a Gary Fisher Zebrano (owned by Trek, I think I spent about $500? for it) and what I like most is that it's a hybrid with front suspension that you can lock or unlock. It's PERFECT for basic commute biking or dirt trails, the wheels are slightly wider than road bikes but not as bulky and heavy as mountain tires.

I picked it out and was fitted at a local bike shop, which was great because they also provided me free maintenance for a couple years after the purchase.

Also check out: http://www.bicycling.com/bikes-gear/recommended/17-for-2017-the-best-fitness-and-hybrid-bikes-of-2017/slide/16

everything about this bike makes me cringe. the seat post suspension in particular is killing me.
best case it does nothing, worst case, it throws you off the bike.

#10 Sensitivity Frustration in TF2 General Discussion

i have the same issue.. so I just pick a main and dont play the others. high sens+soldier in my case. low zoom sens makes sniper bearable. its super annoying switching from csgo to tf2 or something like that, though.

#10 How Do People Make This? in Q/A Help
Bilbertdegushadowburn has applied color correction on the video, if you want similar effect when playing try sweetfx
mike is dxlevel 80/81 + higher brightness + cfg for max frames possible (chris' most likely)
As quick googling says sweetfx can trigger vac, so use it at your own risk.

b$. you know how many people would get vacced if this was true?
it would be a lot more than that 1 kid on steam forums who used cheats and blames it on "sweetfx"

also stop copying dumb settings. specially from edited youtube videos. how the fuck is a blue tinted/dull screen going to help you play better. yeah, it wont

#3 lf g500 in Hardware

g500 has weird sensor placement, at the front.. but if youre used to it.. also was like the first mouse with freescrolling wheel, everyone who does kz used it.

so basically its a weird mouse cause of the sensor placement, I doubt there's anything that feels the same.
I have one which I hate but not selling tbh. you can still buy them on ebay.

#8 Where can a new 6's player find good teammates? in TF2 General Discussion
niteShoosh4812622MonkeySuitYou're making a mistake. I convinced lots of people to play 6s and all of them quit within one season. People just have to want to do this themselves.
This has been my experience as well, unfortunately. Most players find out they don't want to play seriously in two weeks.

A sad defeatist outlook on life, you should think about changing that.

lmao

People who say lmao to cover up their insecurities.

#17 Playing on a desk in Customization
4hpYour sitting position can be pretty significant towards aim. Personally I never understood the classic "b4nny slouch" because I can't aim at all if I slouch, I have to sit up straight if playing seriously. Also make sure your position allows you to move your arm effortlessly. That said pretty much anything is better than playing from your bed lol

a lot of wrist players like to rest their wrist on the edge of the desk as an anchor and then have their arm going downwards. to do this you use high desk normally (or slouch 24/7). at lan the desk can be lower, so then players just do extreme slouch to give the same effect.

doesn't apply for arm players and other aim styles, you want a lower desk for that. so thats why it feels bad for you.
