Like I said, the entire situation is pathetic. If it's true that the website is being taken down more easily than people thought, then it's TF2Center's fault. It's also pathetic in the sense that this guy is taking down an entire website because one person made him mad. What difference does it make if a guy's personality is shit? If he didn't hurt anybody or did anything wrong, then nothing should be done. The fact that people are coming in here and saying "yeah, just ban him already i hate him too" just shows that some people need to grow up.

If there is a bigger story to this, then I apologize, but the general gist of anyone coming into this thread is that a guy is ddosing this site because he wants one person banned. People would already assume that, If Brightly did something so bad that everyone already hates him, he should already be banned by now for doing whatever he did in the past.

If TF2C bans Brightly, then they'll be obliged to pretty much ban anyone that this DDoSer wants banned. Best thing to do is wait it out and he'll take his teen-rage out on something else/get caught or TF2C can get better DDoS protection.

Maybe we should first solve the problem of treating new players like they are players and not like shit, since it seems that every time a TF2 star like Muselk or Uncle Dane make a video about competitive, we get a lot of new players that everyone likes to treat like trash, and then complain about non-stop in TF2Center and other communities.

On-topic, this sucks. He was a very good caster, and if what he said about the EVL staff is true about them messaging him MID-CAST to ask him, "hey, what the fuck are you doing??", then that's pretty un-professional. Things really need to be more organized behind-the-scenes in TF2. Seems a little wonky, lately.

a little off-topic, but for some reason, I got called out by a ugc admin in that thread (im xenith, read it at the bottom to second to last page) for telling Axio "false information", considering that I never said that before in my life to anyone (wasnt even aware of the rumor). The admin locked the thread before he could even respond to me asking why he'd do that sort of thing, and how un-professional it is.

I know that Smobo frequents here, so if you're reading this Smobo, could you possibly tell me why you accused me of this? Especially since I never said this in my LIFE, had no proof, and just blatantly accused me of this? Sorry to clog the thread with this, Steam won't let me add him because he removed me (lol)

Real talk, I love the TF2 Community, but if you have a bunch of stuff in your backpack that can easily pay for your PSU, and you don't have a job, just sell the stuff and get the PSU. If I had the $$$, I'd happily donate, but I think the reason people are getting so worked up is because the guy already has "options" to get what he needs, it's just that it seems that him turning to the "donations" way looks lazy to the average person, especially after seeing that he can afford it if he just sold virtual items to get what he needs to continue to stream and play.

The items may have some sentimental value, but it's really his decision on whether he wants to just sell the stuff and get some cash to quickly get the PSU, or just wait it out for people to throw cash at him. I'm not siding with the people complaining in this thread, but simply stating that I understand where they are coming from.
