I thought the entire point of evlTV coming to TF2 was so that things that weren't Platinum would actually get shown and casted? So is it just back to having one UGC Match casted each week by pretty much one channel until we (hopefully) get a second evlTV channel to cast stuff? Don't get me wrong, this is fantastic, but it seems like the main reason you guys came to the scene went out the window.
The page on TF2Center.com and this thread contradict each other. It says that AL will be released if you guys even get enough interest in it, and the OP here states that AL is playable today.
edit: AL isn't playable at all for the time being?
10:50:20 TF2C | MasterNoob: the promo matches are scheduled for Saturday 20th of June
10:50:29 TF2C | MasterNoob: so we will tease you guys until then ^^
That entire team should be dropped, or atleast the leader. They won a match with that cheater. It shouldn't be fair that team leaders can just add hackers and get no repercussions other than a match getting overturned. This is the one of many times this has happened. If the main leader picked him up, then he should get consequences, as well.
Sucks that you need a hacker to try to place. I also agree with the "hacker ego" thing. Rondego released a video of "How to Play Competitive Heavy" not too long ago. He must be really proud of himself.
I mentored that .exe team that went against Rondego's team. It's pretty disrespectful to call the other team trash and saying that they disbanded due to "salt". There were major roster issues happening already, with half the team wanting to play on different teams the weekend before the match. There's no need to call a team shit, especially if the other team didn't even care about your heavy in the first place. They all noticed how the heavy "got good" in one half, but that's it. Whether they won or not, I can guarantee you that the team would have disbanded either way.
dollarlayerchambsto clarify, bSendPacket is the name of the variable in the leaked source codebase which determines to send the move or not. You can hook CHLClient->CreateMove to modify this on the stack. Setting it to false when you shoot delays the packet, causing it to be grouped / sent with future move packets. This is how you implement `silent aim`.
It seems you have learned how these hacks work quite well, and how to write your own hacks. Why not do the community a favor and write a server plugin that detects this...
There is a plugin that prevents some cheats (like gamebanana's wallhacks) from working called IntegriTF2. Though, it focuses more on keeping UGC Banned people/alts out of the server, I see more and more servers using it. The guy who made Integri should definitely ask chambs about that stuff if he was serious to make his plugin better
Don't ever complain that the community is dying and then literally turn around and start hating when the community is now starting to grow more than ever because of new people. What the fuck did you expect? Match-Making is going to bring a TON of more people like this, and you guys are already talking about ways to get rid of 0 lobby people with restrictions and such.
I've never been more ashamed.
10:07 of that Twitch VOD: The crosshair never even goes near the medic she dropped.
How?
I do enjoy the whole "IM QUITTING TF2" thing these cheaters love to do. I see it more as, "I'm throwing off the scent of my trail so no one suspects a new alt."
Also, I love how most of these guys never change their alias when they switch accounts. It's either the exact same name, or a different variation of it.
omnificxoomnificWhy would someone ever buy tf2lobby, it'd be 2 services offering the EXACT SAME content. It'd be a loss of cash for the buyer, and it'd split competition between the two, making it take longer to form lobbies and would reduce the variety of given lobbies
It wouldn't be a bad idea for TF2Center to buy the domain to re-direct back to TF2Center. This can help for oldbies who came back to Competitive TF2 (I mean, they'll find TF2Center somehow anyways), and newbies who probably watched old competitive videos, etc
That's a good point, but it might not be worth the time and money. If those oldbies really wanted to get back in (and knew what they were doing) they'd look around a bit more
Eh, it wasn't essentially me saying someone should buy it. It was more of an answer to OP's question. If anyone were guying to buy it, the reasons I listed are the only ones I can think of that make the purchase of the domain necessary at all.

Lennonsmobook i posted a picture where there was cum all over a 3 month old girl with her dad holding her to fuck with the father. I just find it funny that cheating gets you like a 3 year ban but i deserved a perma ban. I'm not saying what i did wasn't fucked up eitherbobmusI'm all for jokey analogies but can we maybe not compare posting a picture on a dead videogame forum to 9/11?smoboedit: sorry for the hyperbole analogy, not trying to compare the two acts, just the phrasing.
in no way did i compare the actions. i'm talking about oversimplification of a story to spin an issue in your favor.
What's scarier is that he thinks it's perfectly normal.
blendtecHeavy Whuppins Guy, I thought the UGC admins already knew
Once again, no one should complain about things if you just "assume" things. If you have proof, present it. Saying things like, "this guy is a hacker, i have no proof, i thought the ugc admins already knew!!" wont ever do anything.
Troopo I don't understand how this guy has been getting away with it for SO long with his hacks be so unbelievably obvious.
Once again, this is an issue. We had this exact issue with the "Flares that Care" fiasco. Once someone speaks out publicly, all of a sudden, EVERYONE knew what was going on?
I won't let this de-rail, but I want to respond to this quote. If people don't submit solid evidence of something to a league, or atleast, get 100% full concrete proof to show to the public, DON'T expect anything to happen.
