Smesidon't worry guys i'm gonna release a yahud clone soon
nooooo competition .(((
tbh i was banking on a lack of competition so i could keep being lazy
Twilitlordany of the ones with state seals and lots of writing are gonna look like ass
jealous of anyone from new mexico exclusively bc their flag is the sexiest state flag in the country
AZ, NM, MD, TX all look pretty good
AR just get the fuck out
honestly though most state flags look cancerous, only a few are actually good looking.
hey valve.
literally hire me and i will fix your game for you, double your revenue and work for very little.
class limits of 3 for offense and 2 for defense/support in casual. 2 and 1, respectively, for matchmaking.
admit that balance changes in the past weren't designed for competitive play as a cop-out for having shitty balance. thoroughly look at every weapon banned in any league, evaluate why it was banned (not just the fact that it was banned), and revise it against those complaints.
while a source 2 port is definitely a lot of work there's still a lot that could be done to overall smooth framerates, and the preset graphics options could be way more thorough so people wouldn't need to use graphics configs at all.
the STV experience is also fucked. there should be a special spectator mode that anyone connecting over STV gets automatically, that loads up shit like StatusSpec without needing insecure (but that only works when connected to an STV relay). there should also be a game menu button for connecting as a spectator.
most importantly this shit shouldn't just be added one by one.
1. make a draft of concepts, showing how the HUD should look and how it should interact.
2. find a way to explain away any flaws so you don't have to admit wrongdoing because you're valve.
3. start an overhaul of the UI following the drafts strictly without changing anything.
4. playtest thoroughly and revise the live version based on feedback from the PTR that should be brought back for stuff like this.
I know it seems silly to spell out how to develop shit, but honestly valve it looks like you need it.

We have these people but burn them out
is it time for me to step up???
Seanbud actually does not know how to get upset
FUNKea time will come the people who make these things happen will be gone.
rip lange, sideshow, dashner...
Last night I forced my girlfriend to watch the i49 fragmentary, and although she's never played TF2 or even watched it outside of ster videos and the like, she's now forcing the living room TV to only play twitch.tv/teamfortresstv all weekend.
Considering she doesn't play many competitive games outside of Pokemon, I'm pretty inclined to say that TF2 can definitely be an exciting spectator sport even for those that have never seen it competitively before, and have no idea what's even going on.
TheWandererCrowns will win this but tbh I am still kind of...at odds with Crowns having to use kaidus as an in-game caller not playing because Crowns...don't seem to have...'a way of having leadership in-game'. It just feels like a cheat to me because other teams don't use a coach.
with how weak he's been performing wouldn't b4nny be froyo's coach :^)
Frankly if you aren't after gaming performance and just want a machine that will last, honestly I would just find a high spec used T430 or something.
If you're into hardware modding there's a lot that can be done with them. You can replace the keyboard with an older non-chiclet one, and upgrade the screen to a full 1080p IPS one, on top of having both an extended 9 cell battery and a slice battery for DAT BATTERY LIFE.
Can't contribute much but frankly, you usually (depending on the situation) shouldn't worry about buffing someone if another player is really low. Get them up a little before giving the buff. Exceptions to this would maybe be buffing the flank so they can make a distraction while the rest of you retreat.
Heal priority is not static. It changes based on what the current situation is and who's currently actually doing shit. If someone has to stop participating at all because they're so low and their class can't do much while low (scouts) then you'll probably want to get them up a bit. Not always to full, depending on the rest of your team, but getting them to about 80 health is nice.
Orang3Just curious what are the downvotes for? Someone said that soldier with shotgun beats scout and I was agreeing and stating why, did I say something wrong?
I mean if neither player misses a single shot and always does perfect damage, the soldier should always win (if neither player is hurt before the fight) because shotguns and scatterguns are practically identical and soldiers have 75 more health
In reality though a soldier is less mobile, so even though he has the same damage output and more health, he's still probably more likely to lose since he has less mobility (and inversely, the scout has more mobility, so he can dodge)
This doesn't factor in player skill though, or really any game variables. Pre-fight health, positioning (does one player get the jump on another?), etc can all vastly change the outcome. A shotgun soldier will always do better against a scout than a gunboats one though.
