DoctorMiggyLogs.tf parses IP info from their log files why doesn't serveme do the same? That is a huge security issue because, even if you get the log files the proper way you still have IP info from the other players. That's a nasty privacy problem IMO.
It's not like he was intentionally giving out the IPs and knowingly compromising the safety of players. It was an oversight, and it's been fixed (or will be fixed shortly). I'm just glad Arie was retroactive enough to find the security flaw, investigate, and keep the community informed.

Usually you have to set it on a driver level to force it if the game isn't behaving correctly. Unfortunately I don't think it's possible to change a setting like this with the Intel drivers.

B4nny is definitely the "best" player of all time. Not only has he been in the competitive scene for a long time, he is also incredibly influential as a player and team leader. Cyzer started in season 2(?) but he hasn't had as big of an impact on the game itself relative to b4nny. Outside of being a player, I would also say he is the most recognized as the poster boy of TF2, introducing the viability of heavy in 6s and by nerfing the pyro.

fps_max should take effect immediately, although it can't be used if you're on a server
have you tried setting it manually after booting the game? if you type fps_max into console without an argument does it show that it's changed? does it stay that way once you're ingame?
what specs do you have?

nitejust a few friendly tips from a mouse expert
- make sure to get the mouse with as much dpi as you can. you're gonna want a minimum of 8000 dpi
- look for a mouse with cool neon colors. red makes your mouse move faster, but blue keeps your mouse cool for sweaty gamer palms. there are benefits to both obviously, so decide wisely.
- you're definitely going to want a wireless mouse, get those bulky cords out of the way and disconnect yourself from the matrix. wireless cords keep you free, from both the hassle of the cord and from government interference
