Delete mainmenuoveride.res, gamemenu.res, and lobbypanel.res and it should fix itself.

Thanks for the reply tresh but this didn't totally do it for me. Is it jsut those 3 files? I deleted all instances of the files ever the "alt" ones.

I'm sure it should only be those files, try deleting your entire hud folder then re installing and tell me what happens.

I renamed the HUD folder hud.old, deleted the resource folder, and verified the game cache integrity. Nothing. It still looks like goat hud when loading, then loads the normal menu, then freezes. I done goofed.

Verified again and things seem ok. Many menu items have %itemname% but at least the game is playable! Thanks for the tips tresh.

Yeah last update broke %variables. I'm not a creator of a hud myself so idk if they just changed the variable's names or have a completely new system now. Either way the hud needs to be updated.

HaradosYou need to add a 3D player model. Would be amazing if you could toggle it on/off for people who wouldn't want it.
I play spy and use the 3d model solely to see what medigun the other team is using if they have it renamed. Here's the cheap hack I've been using, the disguised as info covers up some of the torso (if you're playing spy) but it works for my needs.

Got my item labels working. For anyone who is too impatient to wait for an update, and don't mind updating it themselves, then use http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/February_7,_2014_Patch as a reference to update the relevant files (CTRL+F and search for resource & scripts)

Well according to Goat_'s profile, he's busy and won't be back until March 19th. So I doubt he has time to update it any time soon. Other than that, I believe someone else made a small update to the hud fixing anything that might have gotten broken on his steam group page.

i had a few friends try it out as well as my brother and mvm crashed for all of them too . even if someone invites us to mvm it crashes. so we had to remove the hud inorder to que up. its a fantastic hud though!!! going from yours to the stock hud made it feel like i was playing with a bunch of banner ads on my screen for that mvm. yikes. i look forward to the update. hope you are having a great time out of the country! cheers!

Hey Goat_, your hud is literally the best. Unfortunately, my MvM also does not support it (client crashes when I click on the co-op tab). Also, my scoreboard is messed up - only shows the first 9 players in the server.

Would it be alright to post an edited version of goat_hud on this thread? It's a great hud but I thought some people might like the changes.

am i missing something or have i done something wrong? i dont have the kill/deaths/assists/doms blah blah stats at the bottom of the scoreboard. wut do :x
also im still having the mvm button crash . not every time which is weird tho but most of the time it crashes. same thing is happening with my friend who has this installed.
edited because it seems like whenever i finish playing an mvm when i join up for another one it crashes.
