This game is so ambitious, that it is too good to be true.

I watched the entire video and thought it was going to end with something along the lines of "Actually, this game has already existed for quite a while. GO OUTSIDE."
I was disappointed when it didn't.

This looks amazing
I wonder how long it will take to download.

in b4 "early alpha access" for 60 bucks and the game is garbage
If i wanted to be choosing furniture and buying houses and whatever I'd be doing it in real life right now... I play games to avoid that sort of boring stuff, or put it off anyway. Am not really impressed.

it sounds cool yeah, but i still don't know if I'm a fan of this whole "mmo's need to replicate real life as much as possible" trend
sounds good they better not fuck it up or get bought by EA or something

i think in an interview they said the price would be 10-15 dollars

Oh boy, I can put symbols on my shirt! Consider me in.
these player-filled libraries and museums are going to be filled entirely with memes and furry porn.
I would actually love to try this out, but the sheer scope of it might leave it feeling soulless and empty, like a town I'm Skyrim that doesn't have much to it beyond a few people that need you to delve into ancient dungeons to find their dog/hat/friend/book/sword

Hate to be that guy but I cant help but feel like they are way over reaching what they will actually be capable of. They are saying they will have hyper realistic cars, guns 270 square km map and an entire functioning economy that are completely reliant on players(and I dont see any mention of other games or products these guys have worked on. Which is a pretty big red flag imo) but if a few bits of concept art and some tiny mock up levels of a house and and a shop are all you need to have people throw money at you i don't see why you wouldn't do it.
EDIT: did some research and it looks like the main guy only experience was working as a programer on the MMO "Mortal Online" which I have never even heard of before so hardly filling me with confidence about the game

Like is that a monthly fee? If it's a single payment I feel like there might be something fishy afoot.
e: didn't read it clearly @_@

How can you be a drug dealer
Buying drugs in games isn't addictive
Also imagine if you were just going about your normal life and having a job and then someone kidnaps you and the rest of your video game experience is just being trapped in a basement. Fun times
Also can I start a career in esports

There are quite a few indie companies who develop games throughout the years without making any major announcement and quite surprise us with its quality, specially for being produced by such a small staff or budget. Apart from the few pearls we find here and there, what you said is most likely the scenario here.
I like games who start really shy and are primarily good ideas not trying to be great, but turn out great. E.g. The Old City, which was a pretty raw game at its Kickstarter campaign (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/postmodsoftworks/the-old-city) and ended up way better than expected (http://store.steampowered.com/app/297350/).

Inb4 your friend post on Steam a screenshot of the race he won and it's your job to arrest him.

Maybe if drugs were kind of a second currency that can purchase certain illegal things that regular money can't? (like illegal guns or whatever?) Other than that it'd be hilarious if they made it so drugs would actually make your character high so the screen warps and shit, but the more you do the more your character needs them to fight off withdrawal sypmtoms.
All in all the game seems like a cool concept, but I doubt it will deliver as well as most would hope.
