Film has Mads Mikkelsen and Ben Mendelsohn, so atleast we know the cast is stellar.

Looks like they're using a unused timeperiod for this one, which is pretty good imo, wouldnt want one thats just a sidestory during a main movies plot. Also we get to see the empire at its prime so its gonna be a good time for Empire fans.
Only thing im kinda worried about is how they want to end this story since obviously the deathstar survives this movie, as well the well known villains. the latter can be avoided by introducing a new villain, they have to come up with something good for the deathstar tho. Also with this movie the majority of cannon star wars movies feature a death star now lol

if the lead character isn't a white guy then clearly it must be those pesky SJWs ruining our films
this looks really good and i'm excited. hopefully vader is treated the same way he is in the newer comics, i'd love to see a terrifying, unstoppable vader.

I know it's just a short trailer, but it had no where near the same impact as the original trailer teaser did for me. After watching the original one I was super hyped, but after watching that trailer I can't say that I am as hyped. Either way, hopefully it exceeds expectations.

now 4 out of 8(4/5 if u agree that nothing happened post 83) movies are revolving around a death star or some variant and i really wish lucasfilms+disney would just stop and explore the universe or do something unique. It's really insulting(?) to find them some way to shoehorn in icons of the movie just for the sake of grabbing attention when they can still make a good movie without throwing darth vader and death star shit.
