Try a font which isn't so distracting and is more easily readable, however if you're going for looks the font does look pretty nice.

I like it more than brosel, but for your questions I only know the ammo one
Look in hudanimations_tf, and search fir "low ammo" there should be some entrees already there. If not just copy paste a huds command line and edit the fg color if you don't like it

2. change the ammo colors when there's low ammo

edit: oh, it looks just like broesel...

I'm guessing it's like an issue with ammo on some huds if the font is too big or something and it ends up being the dots. I'm guessing widen it so it can capture all of it??

Just Control+F HudDeathNotice in hudlayout and mess with the x and y pos. Mine is like xpos r1125, ypos 350 (My res is 1600,900)
