Ever since the steampipe update whenever I try to change my crosshair it just reverts whenever I restart my game, how do I fix this? Oh and is aron's crosshair changer currently working?

You have to change the crosshair files in custom/customshit/hud/resources or whatever it's called. I assume crosshair switcher programs default to username/tf2/tf/whatever or maybe common/tf2/tf/whatever instead. Make sure you're changing them in the right place.

This probably isn't the correct thread to put this in, but since steampipe, every time I launch game my 'remember active weapon between lives' and 'hide crosshair while scoped in' keeps getting checked, and I have to turn it off every time I play. How do I get it to stay?

If you have a config.cfg saved in your custom config folder try deleting that.

BenroadsIf you have a config.cfg saved in your custom config folder try deleting that.

This. Because of steampipe you probably are going to have 2 config.cfg. One in your tf/custom folder and one in your tf/cfg folder. The one in your tf/cfg folder is what matters.

Just to clarify, there are two actions required to disable steam cloud sync.

First, launch tf2.
Go to options
>multiplayer
>advanced
>scroll down to the bottom, and near the bottom you will see "enable steam cloud sync"
>uncheck this option
>click apply/ok.

Second, go to your steam library
>right click team fortress 2
>click properties
>click the "updates" tab
> uncheck enable steam cloud synchronization for Team Fortress 2
