live somewhere other than Africa.
Alternatively, buy 100 pounds of ice and dump it all over the floor in your room, it should be cool in no time, or you could, just buy a mini-ac.

1) Acquire huge jug (2l+)
2) Fill with water
3) Add shitloads of ice
4) Have at least 3 seperate ice cube containers so you always have ice to refill
5) Enjoy being watercooled
Also, fan points away from you to the closest wall (or at your computer if it's melting)

And for god's sake don't sit on leather chairs, that shit will make you sweat like there's no tomorrow.
Source: I have one and it is fuckin horrible in summer.

I just really sit in a 120 degree oven until I get off my ass and set up the a/c in my room. I never notice it while playing. Before we had an extra air conditioner for my room, I would put my computer up to the window so the outtake fan was pointing out through the screen, and put a box fan under my desk pointing at my legs. I can confirm that leather is awful, but fake leather chairs are great, it might just be me, but I never have problems with mine.

If You have a really big chair and a ballsackload of ice (which you should!) you can try this setup:
Your rear
Towel
Trashbag full of crushed ice
towel
chair
100% selfmade frost throne, ice giants jelly as fuck. Just make sure not to fill your bag so much that it bursts when you sit on it.

My strats are pretty simplistic. Fan on me, fan on computer, big-ass hospital cup full of cool water, resist the urge to canoodle cats. ez

Goldbond.
Everywhere.
Too much.
I personally prefer the non-mentholated.
Certain people like minty balls.
Everybody knows the normal strats though.

If you point the fan directly at yourself you want to make sure that it's all clean because otherwise it flings bacteria and shit like that at you and can make you sick.

I guess I was lied to when I was told that Germans don't like ice.

Unfortunately I have to play wearing a long sleeve shirt because otherwise my arm sticks to my desk's glass top which makes looking around very uncomfortable.

I would need a sweatband that reached from my wrist to my elbow. My desk is L shaped so I end up resting my entire right arm on it when I play.

Well, my house is made out of dust, and the fan is caked with it, and I haven't died yet. Maybe everything is okay.

My window fan is right on my face as well, and I have allergies. Oops.
Also, I have to lower my CPU clock speed during the summer, otherwise my room gets too hot to sit in, and my cpu gets too close to max temp for me to be comfortable with.
