After internal discussions, a mutual decision was met for DuMmTm to step down as the Production Lead for all European coverage. Teamfortress.tv is sad to see DuMmTm go and wishes him the best in future endeavors as a speedrunner for niche games.
DuMmTm decided to gracefully step-down after collaborating with Faust, an ex-trial League Admin for ETF2L who was leaking Twitch log-in details to DuMmTm in advance and helping him rig the Caster of the Season awards. Faust was also giving DuMmTm information about which ETF2L members had not used their Twitch Prime subscriptions every month, so DuMmTm could target them.
DuMmTm has been abusing this position to accumulate large amounts of Twitch Prime Subscriptions and also use as leverage against teamfortress.tv internally.
After DuMmTm agreed to be fired, ArchRhythm had to turn down the offer of EU Production Lead, citing a fear of the TF2 community and their high expectations of free volunteer work. Eight more Europeans were asked but turned down the position, so we are happy to welcome our newest EU Production Lead: mal!
Mal is based in Australia so all ETF2L Premiership games will now be scheduled to 11am CEST, so that they may be covered on the teamfortress.tv Twitch channel.
Somehow after finding my address, DuMmTm got in touch with me through Deutsche Post to say:
Yo! I got banned from ETF2L, and here's how it went down. I did nothing wrong, man! I did nothing wrong whatsoever! I got banned! I didn't even KNOW I got banned! I didn't get no email, I didn't get no explanation, I didn't get no chance to explain myself.I just got banned. I got a message from Biohazard, that I got banned from ETF2L. ETF2L doesn't even message me and tell me I'm banned. So I got banned for my stream I made, Where I jokingly made a stream- I jokingly, JOKINGLY, told, the world, that, I rigged the awards. I DIDNT RIG THE AWARDS! Anyone with a BRAIN, would realize it was a JOKE! It was a joke, that was- it was a good joke at the time! It's like banning a rabbit, a rabbit did nothing wrong. Why don't you go ban that rabbit? Why dont you go ban a cat? They did nothing wrong, i did nothing wrong either. Unban me, ETF2L!
