i was a WoW player before i ever touched an fps game, and i always thought the raid boss "Patchwerk" from naxxramas had a cool name, so when i first started playing fps i went originally by "kubs" but i didn't really care for it, around this time i started playing wow again, and came across the name patchwerk again, so my alias was born.

TLDR: my name comes from a WoW raid boss and not a copy of clockwork, like people think. :)

i65 ama12 year old me wanted to make a YouTube channel about the xbox360 vs ps3 vs Wii called ConsoleWarsGamer bc I was a Nintendo fan and wanted to point out Nintendo fucks. Carried through as my username on steam when I discovered competitive tf2 and downloaded the game. Shortened to TF2Console when I started helping host pugs and got interested in moving up from UGC to ESEA, and went to Console- because everyone just called me Console- in pugs and I had friends that put dashes in their name for stylizing.

Came out as trans, shifted from Console- to Connie :)

my alias is because my name is hugh, which starts the same way hubris does, so its hugh hubris. here though its this stupid thing because i didnt want to put in hugh hubris. sometimes i shorten it to hu or something. i like it stylized as hu better, it can mean hubris or hugh and people call me both. hubris is why my old pfp was some dude with a large brain to go with the theme, although now its a racoon wearing a bandana lol.
