Hi! My current monitor is getting old and I want to get a new one!
My current choices are between this:
https://www.amazon.com/BenQ-XL2411K-Ergonomic-Customizable-Compatible/dp/B08G57LF6X?th=1&tag=teamfortresst-20
and this:

though, i would appreciate recommendations from you guys, thanks in advance :)
those benQ reviews tell me you need a cd drive in order to download the drivers for the monitor, which is a little odd, but in any event i'd go with it anyway. DyAc is just too good to pass up, and the BenQ Zowie monitors are pretty much top of the line at whatever hertz they run at, you'll never see a smoother display unless you go for the 240hz DyAc model. If you can find them in stock, of course

what the fuck? who installs drivers for their monitor?? who uses this as a metric for quantifying whether a monitor is worth it or not???
for the record i'd go with the asus one cause it says it does a higher refresh rate, outside of that i imagine these two monitors are very similar, maybe even use the same panel

luckily we are not in the 90's but in 2021 so you don't really have to install drivers for the monitor in order to make it work, but i guess you have to have drivers for the graphics card specifically in order to let it work in 144hz>=

reading this should help you choose a monitor for your own personal needs and preferences. We can't read your mind but even so this is a great list of recommendations and things to look out for
