Honestly who is even the favorite now? I feel like any of these teams could win. These playoffs have been unpredictable to say the least. I'm rooting for Carolina, but I feel like every other team is hotter rn

I want Brindamour to win another cup because he was and still is one of my favorite Flyers of all time so cheering for Carolina.

Would also love to see Bobrovski win a cup and no go down on the list of best goalies to never win one. Also a former Flyer that I never wanted us to trade so that angle as well.

Defensemen on both teams clocked almost 60 minutes of ice-time in this game. A full hour on the ice, that is insane. If any of you are former players like me, you know how grueling it can be to go a full 3 period game sometimes. Can't imagine going 7 periods in 1 game.

What's crazier is that they didn't even look tired. Incredible conditioning by them. For people that haven't played, it's probably hard to tell how actually tiring it is because these guys make it look easy

I bet Florida is cheering hard for Vegas right now. It would seem to make sense to rest up and let those 2 teams battle it out for another 5-7 days but when you are hot you just want to keep going as soon as possible to keep your edge and momentum. Would be sad to see the week or more layover between games ruin the run.

The only thing that would make it worth it is if there's a reverse sweep. I'm always a fan of reverse sweeps, but it would be tough with Dallas then being hot going into the finals

when my cousin played in the khl maurice was his coach and from the things ive heard im not surprised panthers are in the finals. guy is a beloved and effective coach behind a strong team on a hot streak

What a final few minutes of this Game 4! Holy shit the last seconds there were 2 great chances to tie the game.

Amazing saves by Hill at the very end, knowing exactly where his post was and his position was excellent. As a goalie, its really one of the major goaltending skills they teach over and over and over and over and never fucking stop. This is exactly why its taught like that.

agreed. i cant put names to it atm but hearing people in the media taking him for less than a point per game this season made me scratch my head so hard

The league is perfectly made for a player like him. The physical nature of the game is at its lowest point in decades and the rules are more geared towards player protection than grit. That opens it up for faster and younger talent like him to shine. In the not so recent past, he would get roughed up and not even be close to as ready as say a big body player like Lindros / Lemieux were back in those days. It's actually frightening to think of how much more dominant those players would be in today's game than they were in their prime.

It's pretty crazy to finally see Bedard in the league, I've been hearing stories about him since he was 11 solely through word of mouth, mind you I lived 2000 miles away in Ontario. Far and away the best of his year and like 3 years up in his province, and the stories only got crazier as he got older and had every game recorded. Hope he lives up to the hype, been very enjoyable to watch him make offense out of nothing.
