The people I can thank for me being here playing this game is probably tragic and rendoas, they both gave me a chance when most teams wouldn’t bother with me. Even though everyone on that roster is long gone playing tf2 I still have the drive to improve everyday both ingame and out just like when I played for them. It’s people like them in this community that keep the game fun and fresh every time I boot up my computer and keep playing season after season. Much love guys B)

Most fun team is one of the only i've ever played on which is garda panteri, specifically etf2l seasons 38 and 39 were the most fun i ever had in tf2. The players alongside myself in those 2 seasons were KJKUOD, earlie, yalin (aka klsz), Manky, Milky, ever_x, auto and trum, those times left me comparing every season since then and never coming close to that atmosphere, in and out of games, unfortunately all good things come to an end :') also would like to mention theos! He was my medic back in my first ever etf2l season 30 and we have been reunited for a couple seasons now, garda's roster basically had a new medic every season, sometimes even offseason so it's really nice to find someone who managed to stick around and who the team wanted still after a full season. I could write so much about each of my past teammates and what they've thought me but this is enough for a little thread :P

From beginning to end, we weren't happy with the open 2nd place, but we still managed to get people for S42 low 1st place. Even with my high experience at the time and players sandbagging in low, and most of the team not actively playing before that season, it wasn't easy, yet we still made it happen. CJ and zherii I will never forget, this team wouldn't have been the same without us 3 at its core. Not to mention all the other games we played together throughout the years.

Season 36, though I did have a falling out with milky and took a long break, it is still one season to remember for all time. I am always up to play whatever game, not just tf2, with these folks, even with the players on the current roster.

I still miss milky though, from time to time I think about him and the fun times we had, late nights in voice chat just talking about the most random things. I just wish we could have played more together.

I had a huge number of seasons with Blanc in ESEA and made some great friends over many years.

When it comes to a whole team, I'll never forget our RGL Season 8 team. Shout out to myk, josh, bacon, strom, stryder and Jude. Playing on that team made me love playing TF2 again every night after a long break from the game. We all meshed together so well and really just had fun every night. Love those guys.

https://etf2l.org/teams/18707/ Doctors of Mediocrity
Countless Seasons on UGC and ETF2L as well as 2 DeutschLANs. Absolute lads. So many great memories!

https://etf2l.org/teams/174/ HerbsArmy
One of the most legendary teams in ETF2L history overall. Glad I got to be a part of this for a couple of seasons!

As for the single most memorable teammate:
https://etf2l.org/forum/user/24023/ currently calls himself Dahlbeck (used go by Yuffie / Hycz).
Nicest and funniest guy I was around. Never had a bad time playing TF2 or other games with him. I love you Hycz <3

most fun/memorable team for sure the 2023 winter showdown SVIFT ( ympo, poy, pandemic, edk and sneaky), tons of fun to play with even if the results werent great, glad we could keep atleast a couple of people around from previous seasons during most of the time I spent in svift, most of the rosters were always atleast fun to play in, despite some seasons being really rough, special shoutout to poisson aswell, miss you king

I thought about it and I felt compelled to talk about my old friend and teammate, Caboose. His real name was Addi.

I met him through asianriceguy and the three of us among others spent a lot of time playing together. Pubs, pugs, mge, ultiduo, 6s, everything. Caboose was one of those guys where I never ever heard him get angry or be rude to anyone. He was just such a great guy.

I stopped playing tf2 for several years and we lost touch, unfortunately. Then, just a few years ago I heard the news. Rest in peace, Addi. When I remember you, I remember the value of kindness, and I try to be kinder for it.

When I think "memorable teammate", I think about passion, dedication, leadership and charisma. The player I am about to mention has none of those things however. The word memorable generally has a positive connotation, but in this instance, memorable is the unfortunate reality that lives in my head with having played with this player.

8K Deathy.

The French Canadian soldier "extraordinaire" (I cringed typing that), well known for his time on Running with Scissors, and Feint Gaming. Pretty impressive stuff. But most of you will not have know about his time in the IM ladder. Well, let me tell you. I sure do.

It started as a fun passion project. To see if a team of 2 EX invite players and a bunch of literal new players with less than 20 total hours in game could even win a league match. It was fun. Practicing, learning the game, all on the fly with the help of some talented parties. Deathy eventually became aggressive at all teammates, especially towards the new players. It became extremely hard to focus during both practice and matches due mainly in part to the harsh words that left his mouth. It got to the point where the only time the team would congregate was for matches.

Midway through the season, Deathy decided that he was done. He shadow banned everyone from the server and was never to be heard from again. After some investigative research, it was made known to me that Deathy was now playing for a different team. I felt lost. I felt frustrated and mostly, let down that what I thought was a great friend, would cave to the call of the siren.

The team would be ultimately unsuccessful, boasting a mediocre 7-9 record on the season. A swift disbandment, and a group of friends serrated at the throat. Not only will I never forget Deathy, but I cannot forget. I do hope he is doing well, and I wish no ill will upon him.

Most memorable player that I can think of, but not in the way I would have wanted it to be.

one of my first 6s teams was in the first season of the CEVO reboot. I picked up lspike for my team and that was such a good choice! Insanely positive and hilarious person who was the life of any mumble they were in, plus a very good scout. hope they are doing well these days!
