Just wanted to get some feedback on the color correction I used for this video:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ky4tVqY6Ao
I based it off what this guy says http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9QbhmBHq8M. But I adjusted the values to better match TF2. I tried to make the colors be look better without the change being too distracting.
Also, I don't know if this happens to everyone but after rendering (uncompressed) on sony vegas, my video gets really blurry when the camera is moving too fast. Some blur is fine but it seems excessive, maybe I am doing something wrong.
Edit: 60fps version

My god, someone actually used good colors for once.

That's a good start, might be a bit too rich depending on what kind of song you use with it.
I think skyride does a much better job actually explaining some simple cc so you can really develop your own look and fit it to whatever mood you want: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFcDv5vRcTc
I'm assuming the blurriness you're talking about is just the frame blending from your clips, it looks fine if you're not looking at stills, but if you really want that to look better, you can record at a higher framerate, or lower your shutter angle if you use srcdemo2 (which you really should do).

Haven't used srcdemo2, and I recorded using lawena at 240fps.
I watched skyride's guide but I didn't give it much thought since it didn't use sony vegas. I guess I will rewatch it, thanks.

All I can say is you should really start using srcdemo2, it makes everything much easier. I'm a total idiot when it comes to editing and recording, and I could figure it out within 5 minutes and get it working in 10.

Make sure you are disabling resampling in your clips, it should remove some blurryness. right click clip > properties > disable resample.

#3, I watched the video, thanks that was helpful.
Has anyone experimented using a different color curve on R/G/B? You'd think that making red and blue stronger would look good on TF2 because models are mostly red and blue anyway.

Colors are really subjective....
The video is overly saturated, but that's just my taste.

I also think you added too much saturation.

reemixI also think you added too much saturation.
yeah...sorry. Part of it is that the color settings on my monitor are messed up.
