Don't hate me but maybe put the looking threads back in the side bar? People put them up so they get exposure and for people to post on and shit. Plus it's always cool to see who is looking for a team, I never really minded when they were in the sidebar. Just a thought, maybe get some others opinions.
Maybe a second bar for recruitment that people can expand or contract? that might make both sides happy.
Before they were removed they would regularly take up the majority of the sidebar. The extra exposure encouraged more aggressive bumping and it was pretty annoying. There is a reason why the suggestion to remove them got like 100 plus frags.

cool.
let's figure out how to give them a little bit more than NO exposure from the main page
cool.

No one gives a shit.
If a team is lfp, the just look on the lfp forum. Most people would agree with me when I say that I don't care if there's a "low open scout lft" enough to put it on the sidebar. There's no need to give those people exposure on the front page.
cool.

yeah but if nobody looks at LFT posts besides teams looking for players then how are people going to get compliments and how are we gonna get nice juicy e-drama?
cool.

It's nice for them to have some exposure so that people can comment in them to give their thoughts on the player. It's nice for some people (other than people actively looking for players or teams) to see these threads.
I like the idea of a collapsable sidebar, if that's a thing.

hahaha god forbid you scroll down and see PLAYERS LOOKING FOR TEAMS IN THE SPACE THAT USED TO BE BLANK SPACE
webpages are exponentially less popular considering the number of links/clicks they are deep.
no need to give community members exposure on the community website?
oh. aight.

I apologize for my hostility, there is no reason to say people don't deserve exposure. Still a forum noob, don't know how to put the bold names in the quote once I accidently delete it.

On topic: an extra section under the recent threads for the recruitment forum would be awesome.

Maybe users could set which subforums they want to appear in the forum sidebar in settings?

Umm, is this still a possibility? The whole "we can expand the recruitment bar on the left" thing sounds like a really good idea. Enigma??

Isn't the whole point of this site to get people into competitive/on a team?
