This isn't really a thread because I need to buy a new keyboard or anything, just wondering who likes what key switch. I'm personally in love with the feel and sound of my MX Blues.
I heard blues suck really bad for gaming, but are amazing for typing.
I personally use browns, and am completely ok with them.

reds are best

reds all the way (I've owned blues, blacks, and reds)
I've only owned Cherry MX Blues, but I love them. Typing long sentences sounds great.
Blacks. But now as I realize typing out this sentence is making my fingers be tired I'm starting to reconsider.
I use reds and love them but i'm sure i'm in a minority there.
Blacks. I like the feel, and I like the sound. Can't imagine changing really.
Has anyone had long term experience with both ABS and PBT keycaps OR ABS & POM? I'm wondering if PBT OR POM is worth the price, or if they just end up feeling slick like used ABS do after long term use.

I've tried blues and browns and I have a brown keyboard.
Blues are nice for typing on but I like the middle ground that the browns give.

I fear that this sums up this thread.

Brown switches for the win. Love the middle ground between gaming and typing.
Definitely browns. Haven't tried reds though, think they might be quite good. Think I'd miss the tactile feedback of the browns though. Kind of curious about how justified the hype around topre switches is too.
They sound lovely too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXR_05X8Nm8
If anyone's looking to buy a mechanical, I'd recommend a CM QuickFire Rapid (they come in multiple switch types) unless you really want to get an expensive board (the QFR is about $80 or £70).

I've used blues and reds. Reds are way better for gaming and slightly worse for typing.
I've only used reds. Great for playing games, okay for typing. They took a while to get used to and it's easy to press the wrong key. It's not too bad but I'd prefer something with more resistance for typing.
i've also only used reds from my current keyboard and i love it for gaming
